Weekend's Other Games

Man Utd fans should be pretty satisfied with their fight back; playing a man short and they still pegged back City after conceding and could've had an equalizer with better finishing. City though, just don't look right. 1-0 up against 10 men, playing at home, and they just looked panicky as shit at the back every time the opponents pressed forward. And Toure is one lazy fucker when it comes to defending. Also - does anyone rate Clichy? I've never been impressed by him every time I've seen him, but he's playing for City week in week out so I guess I must've seen him at the wrong times.

I actually thought he was excellent when playing for Arsenal but he's looked out of position a few times for City.

Van Gaa is saying that a little bit of spit came out when fellaini went to shout at Aguero.

Spurs win but are still shite. So are we mind and 85% of the league.

Harry Kane is such a shite footballer.

Couldn't be arsed watching anyone kick a ball around today but did Hart actually do this?

yes. Oliver hesitated for a moment, before deciding to let it go unpunished.

Yeah i thought Oliver dealt with it like a man, didn't make a fuss like others would have.

There'll obviously be no retrospective action taken against Englishman Joe, and England's no1.

The sending off killed us really, thought we were going to get hammered at that stage. Did well to keep it to 1-0 and could have easily grabbed an equaliser.

City don't look that impressive so think they may come 3rd behind Arsenal. Chelsea are going to win the title by 10+ points. 4th is still fairly open, just depends on who is the least shit.

Hart had better get a ban for that. It's outrageous.

I cannot believe Oliver just accepted it. The lack of respect for officials in football is disgraceful and it's no wonder the players all behave like bellends when there is no requirement for them to show any.

He made the only goal of the game and united didn't really have a right side so I thought he did ok. Kolarov is a better attacker but is arguably crappier at defending.

Jovetic is pretty shite almost everytime I see him. He looks fat and cumbersome. Only good game came against us (obviously!)

How good are City's bench to be able to call on Dzeko, Nasri, Fernando as subs (with Silva out)?

Rooney with his running, fancy passing and "passionate" shouting has no end result as usual. Good for him.

Hart went to speak directly in the ref's ear then the ref turned around got spooked and found Hart's mug in his face. No big thing

So utd spend over a hundred million and replace a crap manager with a super manager and are worse off. Hmmmmm

Press saying Downing to get England call up. Everyone knows he is talented just not consistent. Shame he wasted his chance with us. Bottler

I thought after a fairly even start Citeh started to get on top, scored the goal and then inexplicably went into their shell. I have to say, it's been a long time since I've seen a United team create so little, before and after the sending off.
