The Internet is going pretty crazy over a breakthrough with superconductor material and results have now been verfied by 2 or 3 other sets of scientists.
Anyone have any understanding what this might mean in practice, and what timescales we may be looking at for any noticeable change? Are we one step closer to hoverboards? Or is this all hype and no trousers?
