This thread is funny, no one seems to mention the big thing in all this...we were fucking top of the league at christmas, and then WBA happened, followed by Newcastle....
Explains Everton's improvement.I wonder if, in time, we’ll get more insight into the teams that have performed well during COVID Vs the teams that haven’t.
Whether that’s the impact of fan-free stadiums .......
Liked that... It would be intresting to find outI wonder if, in time, we’ll get more insight into the teams that have performed well during COVID Vs the teams that haven’t.

The CB issue yes but you cannot ignore the way we started to play pedestrian and predictable in midfield and attack. That could have been avoided by moving the ball faster.I have done so several times including this thread. We went tits-up when we lost all our CBs - Jota injury compounded it further

Yes poor execution...so basically these playera are like robots who could never adapt to changing situation like proper world class players always do.Not at all that simple. VVD, in particular, and Matip are key to playing quickly from back to front. And, when we started dropping Hendo into the back after Matip went out, that is when things went from okay to awful really fast.
TAA, Sadio, and Firmino forgetting how to pass the ball to their own teammates or, at best, two yards behind their run, is what has led to our lack of fluidity. Thiago, surprisingly, has been the same - as has Keita.
We may be predictable sometimes, but really poor execution by our key playmakers is a bigger issue.
