Not buying. Trophies are flat out irrelevant when comparing individual players' skillsets - far too many other players and other factors play a part in winning trophies. If Mo had played in the team Suarez had around him he'd have won a fraction of what he's actually won. For sure Mo's had the more impressive Liverpool career but even in a far shorter time at LFC, when the club was in far worse shape than it's been since, Suarez provided more "How the **** did he do THAT?" moments than any other Liverpool player I've ever seen.

Its hard to decide between Suarez and Salah for me. Purely on ability - Suarez - he didn't depend much on others, could produce magic at any moment in a game.

But Salah's consistency across multiple seasons, and contribution in one of the most potent attacking line up that redefined how the game is played in PL cannot be overlooked.

They are a step ahead of Torres, Mane, Owen, Fowler, Firmino etc....we have had some great forwards!

As someone who started watching football in the mid to late Nineties, it's Suarez.

With hindsight I quite like how he played in a shit team because it just highlight how extraordinary he was on the pitch. We rightly talk about how Gerrard singlehandedly kept us competitive, but Suarez at his best even surpassed what Gerrard was doing. Peak Suarez could have signed for Stockport and dragged them to the Champions League. He was cheat code.
