Not sure about him. Would be happy if the club sold him and put the money towards getting top class AM and/or ST. He's passing stats are remarkable but I always feel that he looks for the easy pass.

I like him. I think hes a terrific footballer and will be an important squad member.
All being fit
Keita
Fabinho
Oxlade
He doesnt play, not to mention we need a 10 but Gino and Lallana will be good back up.

Anyone who wants him sold needs to have a word with themselves.

Yes, he can be alot more assertive on the pitch but I think he's a cracking footballer with a really high ceiling. I'm intrigued to see what he'll be like with these two new lads.

At his best , he's amazing to watch. At his worst he makes a bad Spearing impression.

Never been wini biggest fan but he is Squad player that is required. A phil Neville. We need a few for next season.

Guys when Ox got injured he came on and helped us put 5 past Roma and also scored his first away goal. He definitely belongs with us and does shit no one really notices it.

Gini has proved himself a worthy member of our squad. He needs to contribute more offensively, but he is a very good player, who we could do with in our squad.

I've always felt he was a piece of the puzzle brought in before the others. He's a good player, not an exciting player but a good link man who finally has the right players to link to.

In the MF role where in the pecking order is he?
Kieta
Fabinho
Henderson
AOC
Milner
Grujic
Lallana
Wini
New A/M
Should you have a £40m - £50m player as a bench warmer?

Basically if you want a mix of players in that midfield .. then you have a DM and an attacking mifielder and then to link up the play with a tick tock to keep the ball and recycle the moves you need a Gini. This is what he is good at.

That’s not the pecking order though.

It's not, but just a reminder of how many players we have that occupy MF

I think that Milner maybe playing his last year and Klopp loves him.
Lallana is also coming to his footballing end - also would not be surprised if we sold him, he seems very injury prone.
All the talk of Grujic is that all these other clubs want him and therefore we may sell him. But I think he will be great for our future.
A new AM is definitely required for us to open up teams, and one who is the creative type is required.

Wijnaldum also seems to be a very friendly sort. Eerily so. His ability to hold off defenders and protect the ball can be spooky. And he's shown a lot of spirit during his time with us.

I dont think Wini is going anywhere. He strikes me as the sort of player who will benefit from being pushed for a starting place and also from not being burdened by expectation. I dont expect him to be first XI when everybody is fit but he will get plenty of games this season. I think hes with Henderson and Milner in the 2nd string midfield now, which shows how strong we are in the middle 3 positions now.

Given our history of injuries at the same time at key points in the season - I think everyone will get a chance, and Klopp's system ensures that one game for Liverpool is like playing two games for another team.

Yeah our midfielders and fullbacks have to make alot of sprints which lends itself to more muscle injuries. Klopp seems to be happy to rely on the same core group when fit and only really rotates as a result of injury or burnout, still its safe to say we will have enough games that Wjinaldum will get plenty of playing time as hes probably the most like for like sub for Keita.

Last December the complaint was Klopp rotates too much unnecessarily, now he only rotates as a result of injury or burn out ...

Glass is always half empty

I"m a fan of the man ...2nd season on the trot were we ran out of players in the last quarter. Ox, Lalla & Can all crocked by April and Gini with Henderson & Millner were all we had left for the last 8 games or so.
