Just spoke to my mate and he said again hes the best hes seen at Derby. He thinks he will be absolute world class.
And hes heard nothing about any offers or firm interest but United and Chelsea scouts are always there watching him.

We have been looking at him but it does seem highly unlikely that we'll make a bid. That's kinda the vibe that I got from the Derby forum.

And how would Derby forumites know if we are going to make a bid ?!

He is a fantastic footballer. Can't remember where I heard about him but I went out of my way to watch some derby games last year because of what I'd heard/read about him. Barca scouts were over quite a few times to watch him last year as well apparently

I doubt that there are many great young prospects around who don't look raw. It sort of goes with the territory.

Hahahahaha.

Anyway, Rossiter is definitely mega-rated. Been playing with the u21s against senior sides this summer, so he's obviously fairly precocious.

Wouldn't necessarily be against signing Hughes but he'd hardly be a priority given the presence of Rossiter and a couple of others.

Noticed that he isn't in the England u17 squad.

Well I think there must be some reason for that given that he's been England u16 captain until now and his progress has accelerated massively in the last 6 months.

Rossiter is the most highly rated academy player since Sterling, and maybe since Gerrard.

Going to be a quality player in a few years. I believe he's a Liverpool fan too. Follow him on twitter was going crazy when we beat Spurs last year, I think it was Spurs anyway memory not very good.

I want this kid! Him and Rossiter could be our midfield for the next decade after Gerrard!

PESAMMMMMMMMMMMM
Sorry, missed this thread originally.

Don't know what to say really, I've been very eager to see him play because of the hype but unfortunately haven't been overly impressed in the few viewings I've had (I've seen him in 3 full appearances and a few sub appearances).

He has superb ball control and is very tricky BUT he reminds me a bit of Barry Banann of Villa e.g. always looks very comfortable in possession, always looks very capable but rarely produces anything of note.

Obviously 3 games is nowhere near enough to judge him accurately but I can't say I've been overly impressed so far.
