Wingers that can score

This transfer window the strikers available to us have been rather limiting. With the departure of Sterling who has to be said was piss poor in front of goal has left a vacancy.
What if we revert to playing one up front and have a pacey/tricky goal scoring winger?

We were interested in DePay .. we all know how that went. Since it's more than likely, almost a dead cert, that we are reverting to 442 pyramid or 433 then it's unlikely you'll see out and out wingers. I think we have enough in that dept already. It's goals from upfront we are lacking.

And a left back.

I think we'll sign another wide forward though. Despite having Ibe, Markovic, Firmino, Lallana and then Kent/Wilson/Ojo (as well as Coutinho) who can all play there, I think Brendan has a Wenger-like hard-on for an attacking midfielder and signs them whenever he gets the chance.

That said, Pedro is boss and I would like us to sign him.

I want to see Flanno come back and boss that LB slot. He was excellent before he went and got himself injured.

Sterling out Firmino in is how it looks to me.

I don't see how we can possibly accommodate another attacking or wide midfielder.

It's probably going to be 2 from this lot:

Coutinho
Firmino
Ibe
Markovic
Lallana

Firmino will probably be our striker until Sturridge is fit or we find another but Brendan will have a job keeping them all happy.

If Hodge Brodge could bring himself to play Lazar in his best position we would have some player there.

Wide midfield.

Its not clear though is it, and we dont really play with outright wingers. When we signed him I was under the impression that he played on the left of an attacking 3. He wasnt good enough to take that position from Coutinho so he got moved around a bit, never really looked settled anywhere. I think its safe to say Coutinho and Firmino will play in the advanced positions off the main striker this season and hes not physical enough to play as part of a 3 man midfield so playing him in his best position may not be an option unless somebody gets injured
