you better dont do that with Germans, they hate it...a fixed Price is a fixed Price...So if Bayern say 20m€...the only possibility would be 19999999.95€

Not that fussed about Shaqiri, i'd definitely prefer lallana over him. Lallana would offer us a lot more than what shaqiri can.

Another short arse fucker...we already have sterling and coutinho, I hope we don't completely neglect height in the squad.

Resale value?
In 4 years Lallana will be on thinking his retirement package while Shaqiri will be coming into his prime.

Aren't people starting to seriously overrate Sterling now? It always seems to be one extreme or another. I mean does anyone really think he'd have got anywhere near that Bayern team last season?

Raheem Sterling has been declared the most valuable English footballer in a report published today.
The Liverpool attacker, who is in Roy Hodgson's World Cup squad, is deemed to be the 15th most expensive player in the world by Swiss-based research centre, the CIES Football Observatory, with his value estimated to be between €38.7m (£31.5m) and €44.9m (£36.6m)
He is one place ahead of Everton playmaker Ross Barkley, who valued between €36.8m and €42.8m (£30m and £34.9m).
They perhaps surprisingly head England team-mate Wayne Rooney, who is in 17th place with a price tag of between €36.7m and €42.7m (£29.9m and £34.8m).

Well that's me told.

Wow! His Majesty King Binny QUIFFING!

As stated above, it doesn't really say that. The headline suggests it, but the text doesn't bear that out. Not that such a thing ever happens in the British press or anything.

If he keeps improving at his current rate, then he can go very very far.

Plus the fact that he is adding more and positions to his skillset.

CLOSING IN: Liverpool are set to complete a £15m deal for Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri [GETTY]

Shaqiri admitted last month he was ready to quit Bayern after failing to establish himself as a first-team regular since the arrival of Pep Guardiola as manager last summer.
Liverpool, as exclusively revealed by Starsport, lodged a £15m bid for Shaqiri last week with manager Brendan Rodgers intent on bolstering his squad ahead of a return to the Champions League next season.
And according to reports in Shaqiri's native Switzerland, Liverpool are close to clinching his signature.
Manchester United have previously shown interest in Shaqiri, capped 32 times by Switzerland, but his desire to play in the Champions League means he has ruled out a potential switch to Old Trafford.

RED ALERT: Shaqiri is set to arrive at Anfield from German champions Bayern Munich [GETTY]

If the 22-year-old completes a switch to Anfield, he would become Liverpool's third summer signing following the arrivals of Southampton forward Rickie Lambert and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can.
Rodgers is also hopeful of completing a £18m deal for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.
An initial offer of £16.2m plus midfielder Suso was rejected by Sevilla.
The Europa League winners made it clear they had no interest in acquiring Suso and demanded an extra £1.8m to allow Moreno to leave the club, which Liverpool have agreed to pay.
However a £25m deal for England midfielder Adam Lallana remains in the balance, with Southampton desperately trying to prevent an exodus of their star players.

Very tough little player. Built like a brick shithouse and only 5'5".
He's very good - good first touch, very skillful.
Trouble is he seems to be an injury liability. . .

Today's "Echo" apparently carries a report saying the Mancs were also in for him but he's turned them down in favour of our bid.

He's a decent addition to the squad, not sure what we are exactly looking for though. He is like a weightlifter Pete. He's also a cheating little fucker, when I saw him play in Dortmund last year he conned the ref so much. Will fit in nicely with Louis then
