26 goals in all comps. Big ones at that. Credit where it's due, he's been brilliant. A serial winner and a massive character to have in any dresing room. Cunt. United are so reliant on him, you'd wonder where they'd be without him but unfortunately they have him and probably will next season too.

They will those finals that we failed to win last season. I think that is why Jose looks a bit relaxed - he will probably qualify for the CL through getting to the final of the Europa Cup and winning that.
 
He's been fantastic for them. He's a winner and a World class player. Thankfully he's getting on a bit and probably only has one more season in him at top level.
 
When you spend half a billion pounds on players in about 3 years you are bound to get a couple right. I hope he fucks off this summer for even more money somewhere else. Isnt he on a one year deal?

That said Mourinho is turning them into a machine, I can see them taking 2 or 3 trophies this season and pushing on next year before the inevitable Mourinho implosion in year 3. Depressing.
 
Unfortunately, he's tremendous. I hope he leaves as he looks like he'll be good for a couple more seasons yet.

I think that was always the biggest criticism of him, his workrate and whether he did it enough in the big games, but over the last few years he's matured as a player and really fulfilled the "World Class" tag. He's brilliant, which is really fucking annoying.
 
Yeah he has been good. Shot them to a sixth place so far and together with a couple of linesmen their by far biggest contributer to winning the League Cup. Thank god they have him. It was getting painful to see those whimps acting like the best club in the universe with nothing to show for it.
 
He wins trophies and the league in every country he's been to. Granted he usually play in the best team in that said country, but still, he's an absolutely brilliant player and model professional.
Over the last 10years he's scored 20+ goals every single year, with the most being 50(!!) last year. Compare that to rooney who the press have a wankfest over for breaking charltons record has scored 20 goals 3 times in the last 10 years, and that's playing 40-50 times a season.
 
World class player is world class.

I can't help but still like Zlatan even if he does play for them.

Hhahahaa I just figured out the thing about your username. After almost a decade. It happened because I read this, my brain replied along the lines of something idiot, then I looked over to see who posted this shit, with the phrase fresh in my brain, and all was revealed to me.

AFTER a commanding and cup-winning display in Manchester United’s 3-2 League Cup final win over Southampton yesterday, the talismanic Zlatan Ibrahimovic has commissioned a statue of himself outside Old Trafford, WWN understands.

Speaking to reporters in the moments after the game, Ibrahimovic revealed the design spec for his statue which will reach heights of 30ft.

“They say I’m finished, I am not. But work on my statue should be finished within the next week after a brief tendering process,” Zlatan confirmed, putting the call out to local sculptors.

The statue itself will depict a shirtless Zlatan vanquishing an ancient beast with a trident, complete with 24 grovelling peasants at his feet also known as his United teammates. Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho went as far as to demand that the club’s fans build the statue for free and wait on the striker hand and foot until he retires.

“It will be a place of worship, and I expect everyone to pay their respects,” the striker added before searing a hole through the soul of Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves with a stare as it appeared Shreeves was going to point out that ‘it’s just the League Cup’.

Wayne Rooney has confirmed he is available to show up in full kit to cut the ribbon at the unveiling of the statue if needed.

It seems that the geniuses behind Monty Python used it as a shortened version of fucking eejit. Ken unknowingly used the name having heard it in Monty Python in a different context, and now I may have shattered his sense of identity.

Should get a retrospective 3 match ban after todays game, theres no way the ref can have seen that deliberate elbow to the face and not taken any action. He was on a yellow card for fuck sake. Mings deserved it all the same but still, they will both be getting a ban most likely
