Vardy scored again. How are they doing it? They've had a new manager this season as well and you would have thought they would be in some transition stage.

What do you mean they've had luck with fixtures, they're Leicester City. A club with a tiny stadium and small transfer budget.

Is it not obvious what I mean? They've only played Arsenal and Spurs and got 1 point from it. The fixtures have been kind. Obviously they've done very well in the rest of them, and built a great momentum, but I think they'll struggle soon enough.

You're being uncharitable. Leicester has had an incredible 11 months of football and deserve its top spot. None of this transition malarkey.

Remember when Reading were at the top. Oh they'll fall soon enough.

Yes, it probably will falter but not by as much as people seem to think. Leicester right now is top on merit. Let's give it credit.

They will drop down of course but it's remarkable achievement and they deserve the praise they're receiving.

Speaking as just a football fan it's been a really exciting season and one of the most unpredictable ever.

I saw a table yesterday that showed them top from April. They are a very good side and could easily beat anyone in their next set of fixtures. Injuries will be their undoing this season but it's not like they are top after 4 games. 13 is impressive

The bigger issue for them will be January window when all the big boys make offers for Vardy mahrek etc

Big game for them against United on Sat. Tough game for Vardy to break the record.

They've beaten Sunderland, West Ham (A), Villa, Norwich, Palace, West Brom, Watford and Newcastle. They're doing well, but with Man Utd, Chelsea, Everton (A), us and City coming up, they won't be in the top 4 by New Year.

While I suspect that's probably right, I wouldn't be betting on it. League form is a lottery so far this season, except perhaps for Leicester themselves.

Not if you're an old-timer like me and remember those buggers tripping us up too often in the 60s, the nearest we had to a bogey team at that time.
Weller, Worthington, Birchall, Shilton, Rofe................they were a really decent team for a few years. I vaguely remember their captain Keith Weller (a midfielder) scored a hattrick against us and very few players did that against us in the 70's and 80's (I think he might have been the only one actually).

That may well be about right IMO. They'll finish top half, probably not in the CL places, but a Europa League spot is defo not out of the question.

Beating Swansea 2- 0 away. Will go top again today . I don't think they'll win the league but could they get top 6?

No reason why not IMO, especially in a season in which nobody else seems to want to stay ahead of the pack.

It probably depends on whether they keep hold of Vardy and Mahrez in the January window
