NSW out of control - I don’t think the story about shooting dogs distracted people for long enough - so they’re resorted to telling people to ignore the daily cases numbers and instead announced talk about being able to go to the park in a few weeks time and sit together if you & your entire family are double vaxxed.
They’ve given up trying to stop it or get the numbers down.

It’s seems to be stopping the worst effects of the virus.
For most people under the age of 60, their immune system does that better than the vaccine. So perhaps wasting the vaccine on these people, to allow the virus to have a good old gander at it under no pressure and no impediment to its replication, perhaps that was a clown move on the part of our scientific advisors. Oh well, you live and learn. Or you live and die. Depends really.

How do you tell that, either way, without using the sort of stats and modelling you keep telling us is wrong?
Because when data comes in, the morons who advise your governments put it into excel and plot graphs, and update their models. So they wait for their data, and their models are in perpetual change. They're reacting to the past.
When data comes in to me, I think about the natural phenomenon that generated that data, and I model how nature works. Not the data it spits out. Two data points came in from India a few months back. Of two separate households. Both double vaccinated with AZ. All four people infected. All four on oxygen. So it was pretty obvious to anyone with a brain cell that the vaccine was not effective at stopping infections, and the fact both people got sick means it was not some oh 10% unlucky chance that they didn't get protection from symptoms. Those data points tell you that the strains they got circumvented the vaccine - because both members of the same households both got sick. That's not a statistical coincidence unless you're retarded. So if you carry that on, you'll end up with more and more strains that do the same. It's not my fault your experts go "it's two data points, inconclusive, wah wah wah, need more data, statistical significance". Good job, now a thousand people a day are dying. But at least they have data. And monies. Don't forget the monies.

I have no fucking idea how to stop this virus - short of not coming within 20ft of anyone ever again... between you an Ross botching and bleating about everything in sight, it seems the recommended course of action is to inject yourself with bleach, go out into the community, lick and spit on each other like rats (one of your most poetic lines ever) and hope for the best.
I’m open to practical suggestions - I’m over fucking lockdowns, for sure, I wear a fucking mask if I’m outside the house, socially distance & QR check in wherever I go, work from home and I’m fully vaxxed.
My alternative option seems to be - catch it and find out for myself if my immune system, ivermectin or a ventilator can cope.

There are lower case loads, as well as far lower hospitalizations, and far lower deaths, in counties with higher vaccination rates, all across the USA.
If the USA wasn't vaccinated at all right now, many thousands more people would be dying. If everyone who is eligible to be vaccinated was, or even if every person over 50 was, 4 or 5 times less people would be dying.

An award-winning BBC radio presenter died due to complications of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccination, a coroner has concluded.
Lisa Shaw died in May, just over three weeks after she had her first dose of the jab, an inquest in Newcastle heard on Thursday.
The 44-year-old - who was referred to by her married name, Lisa Eve, during the hearing - started to complain of a headache a few days after her vaccination and eventually went to A&E in Durham, where she was diagnosed with a blood clot and was transferred for specialist treatment at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
The inquest heard that, despite treatments including cutting away part of her skull to relieve pressure, nothing further could be done and Ms Shaw died on May 21.
At the end of a hearing which lasted less than an hour, Newcastle senior coroner Karen Dilks gave a narrative conclusion, which said: "Lisa died due to complications of an AstraZeneca Covid vaccine."
