Jesus that again? Do you want me to post that Carragher gif that no one talked about?
How come you don't mention that dreadful tackle on Dzeko? Would Agger have done the same?
I really don't see the difference Sakho makes. What I've been reading here about his passing, possession etc is the same type of romanticising people did about Downing, Adam and Carroll. Sakho has done well, but I don't see how he's made that much of difference compared to Agger.
We're still conceding goals no?
Is it not possible, just SLIGHTLY possible, that you're the one imagining stuff about agger?
All I'm saying is people here want Sakho to be so much better than Agger that they're starting to imagine stuff.

What has this thread got to do with carragher may i ask?
The way he kicks a ball is a bit weird, but he looks like the best defender out of the 3 of them.
We were, but he's still got the best clean sheet record in the team.
Keep Sakho in the team, I mean we're still winning.

Whereas you can't help but mention Carragher, even though he's completely irrelevant to the point made. Congratulations on turning another discussion into another scathing act of over defensiveness about one of your favs. I thought you'd be in a happier mood anyway, Hendo is suspended, your prophecy from weeks ago about Lucas playing most of the rest of our games, may finally come to pass. Go Modo.
Sakho had one game early on (I can't remember which one it was) when he made a couple of blunders, and that put some people off him. Since then, I think he's been immaculate. To me he is more of a natural CB than Agger, who tends to get out of position and lose the man he is supposed to be marking.
Edit:Read his Opta stats from the City game. 100 % duels won and air duels won.
Thats the kind of defender you need.
A few people have described him as pacey, which is ignoring the fact that he looks like he's been running in lead boots in the last couple games.
Is it just something to do with coming back from injury and the pace will come back when he is fully fit / match fit or is the pace thing assumed because of, errr, how can I put this, the fact that he has "grit and steel"?
