24 years on and it's still just one of the saddest things imaginable.

How you could send your son or daughter to a game of football and for them to never return must rip you apart. JFT the 96, their families, and the whole football world.

Gone, but never forgotten.
 
Even though I was only about 9 years old when it happened, I'm now older than most of the fans who died. A sad fact that justice has still not been done.

RIP.
 
It doesn't get any less horrific. I just hope the wheels of justice continue to gather momentum for all of those whose lives were stolen away.

Thought with all the people still effected by the events on that black, black day.
 
I'm given a glimmer of hope that justice of some sort may be seen now, even on this day.

I hope that flame of hope burns inside the families today as well.

Spare a thought for the 96 who lost their life on this terrible day 24 years ago and the families who lost loved ones..Always remembered.
 
Sad day. It's great that finally in the last year the friends and families of the victims have had their monumental efforts at uncovering the truth vindicated. Let's hope they get the justice they deserve in the not too distant future. RIP the 96.
 
To David Mather who didn't make it home with us on that terrible day and all of the 96, rest in peace.

To the fans who suffered brain damage and those who remain comatose and the families and friends who look after them, all the very best.

To the families who fought against wicked lies and corruption for over 23 years to clear the collective name of Liverpool fans, the deepest and greatest respect.
