The most Rafa thing would be not wanting peak Gerrard in his team.

All jokes aside though I'm sure sure big Raf viewed him as tactically undisciplined.

Rafa was right about Stevie though.

Stevie saw himself as a Viera/Keane type central midfielder and Rafa saw him as attacker playing behind the striker. I think there was a lot of conflict between them on that especially when Rafa played Stevie on the right, which was kind of logical considering what a great crosser Stevie is.

Playing in an attacking position is why Stevie got those goals and assists, and we've had countless discussions about how unsuitable Stevie can be playing in central midfield.

Still crazy to think about selling him though.
