Hitting the post 3 times is sooooooo fucking frustrating.

Suarez could have scored 4 goals today.

And the less said about glen shithouse Johnson the fucking better

I'd be happy if he never wore the shirt again

Fucking fuming

Take off a great crosser and bring on Carroll

Take off a Pacey goal threat and put on hendo on the wing.

Kuyt offered fuck all and flicked on the ball. Whoop feel do.

Gerrard and Adam were too far behind the front 2 continually, leaving fuck all creativity and we became predictable by passing it to the wingers

Fucking thick as cunt Kenny.

Pathetic
[/quote]

Stupid, stupid subs by Kenny. Kuyt and Downing were having mares yet he brings off Bellamy who was causing havoc and full of confidence after scoring.

Brings him off for a steady eddie player and puts him out of position on the right wing...leaving a striker he forked out £35 million for and a goalscoring midfielder who is our best finisher on the bench. What the good fuck were you thinking Kenny? Not good enough.

Once again we're lackluster and lacking ideas in the second half.

I was impressed with his attacking verve in the first half. He tired and was a passenger in the second half.

I never feel confident of a clean sheet when Johnson plays.
Far to many crosses came in from his side again.
He's not in the same league as Kelly defensively.

He's a defender though and defending is something he simply cannot do.

Every aspect of Johnson's defending is a joke. He stands off opponents, he lets the ball sail over his head, he's caught upfield when he should be back defending, he mis-times tackles, he gets outmuscled all the time.

Clown of a player.

I think Kenny needs to look at what was working last year and get back to basics.

I thought the baffling subs would end with Rafa, but clearly not.

Carroll for Downing?
Agger for Kuyt?

Can someone tell me why? Did Kenny realise he fucked up by not having a left winger with Carroll on the field and wanted Enrique to play on the left wing? Seriously what the fuck?

I'll pick this post at random as there are quite a few along the same theme. We created 2 or 3 excellent chances to win it after the subs .. so that wasn't the issue. The problem was poor finishing and it's been our problem all season. So whoever missed those chances needs a finger pointed at them, not the manager for making changes which actually led to some great chances that we didn't put away.

Indeed.

Stats as of 3 matches ago (before Everton, Man Utd and Norwich matches):

prem-teams-conversion-rate.jpg

After today's match, our chance conversion has dropped to 9%.

Our finishing has been shite , that's unquestionable

My issue with the subs is that carroll came on with 10 to go

10 minutes

We brought on agger.

Agger

What the cunt?

I hate these games where we shit on teams and get next to nothing for our efforts, only for us to step off the gas for a few minutes and give a team a boost of confidence they neither expected nor deserved. You could see it coming before they scored with a sudden lull in urgency, passes going astray and players (yes, you fucking Kuyt) trying to do cute and needless flicks that just kill our momentum stone dead. Definitely thought we had banished this inertia with Rafa, but obviously not.

yeah but Fabio I'm sure KD/Comolli had some logic behind that, well obviously, just that we're not privy to it. If we had dropped off after that then we could moan .. but we didn't we kicked on and should have won it.

Yeah we went 3-5-2 at the end, but it was too late and Glen couldn't move at that stage never mind cross it.

There was nothing wrong with the way we played or the substitutions within the game. In fact I'd say it was an exciting game.

It was simple poor finishing that resulted in a draw instead of a win.

We were the better team by far and the loss of 2 points is entirely of our own making.

Nitpicking on the Managers performance is way off the mark in this one as well.

Suarez, Bellamy, Kuyt, Downing, Carroll all fluffed great chances.

Fucking disgusted. Well done Kenny for bringing our 2nd most threatening player off for Henderson when Kuyt and especially Downing were fucking muck throughout.

Tactical genius.

this. when will liverpool get a manger that doesnt continually make baffling decision

All
Managers make baffling decisions

Just saw the highlights now, and cant belive how Ruddy saved that Suarez shot at the end. 1-1 feels like getting away with murder.

You are having a Giraffe Jexy, those substitutions where of Benitez and Hodgson proportions.

Spot on Jexy .. exactly as I said one page ago and as Binny's stats prove. It's very worrying.

My point is we should have won the game well before substitutions.

Plenty of chances were spurned.

We should have won it comfortably. In fact we should have won it by half time.

I don't really get kenny's reluctance to play certain players and stick with some others no matter what ....now i am not a fan of rotating like a madman , which we have done in recent years , especially in a season like this with fewer games ....but certainly i don't see why some subs never make it on for at least a few minutes to see what they can do ...why hasn't maxi had any minutes at all ? . I guess he wanted players to put in crosses so moved enrique up but still why not stick maxi on instead of agger ...i mean we're 1-1 at home to Norwich ...fucking go for it .

And for this one game i would have also stuck Spearing on for Adam ...i know he's not everyone's cup of tea but he does have some bite and moves the ball quickly . Adam played decent enough for the 1st 60 mins or so but faded so much after it's embarrassing.

And i agree on everything said about the finishing....I think i said a few weeks ago that i really don't see alot of goals in this team , especially if carroll turns out to be wank which is proving true . Henderson , lucas , Downing , adam offer so little in terms of actual goals .

Some will argue that this is a very new team , well ok but then they've got a hell of a lot of things to put right and sort .

Suarez, Bellamy and Carroll should have been on the pitch when the ref blew the whistle at the end of the game. Carroll comes on for Kuyt and you swap Adam for Henderson or Spearing.

I thought Kenny made a few poor decisions but we did have enough chances to win comfortably. Put our chances away and there is no freaking out online. Sadly we didn't so the negative comments are expected.

Should've, would've, could've.

Ah well, we created 50 chances but only took 1...lets take the positives out of it? :🙂Sorry, it's a reoccurring theme for this Liverpool side and has been for fucking years.

Not good enough.

If Carroll nods in, in the 94th minute; then Dalglish is a genius.

Fine margins.

Whatever we shouldn't have needed late substitutions to try and win a game we should have put to bed long before.

And if Maxi was on the pitch instead of Downing, we'd stand a MUCH better chance of taking one of our 22 attempts at goals.
