I don't understand this criticism of Kabak. We play too high a line for any defender to reasonably be expected to defend. Even VvD and Gomez look like amateurs when the front 3 and midfield don't press effectively. Have people forgotten the mockery Villa made of our defense by simply timing their runs and hitting passes over the top of our defense. The worst thing you could say is Kabak hasn't magically improved us, he has the same problem all our other defenders have, its not possible to defend 40 yards from goal.

Proof that VAR is flawed?

I've said for a long time, there needs to be some sort of 'on field decision' when it comes to offside. To make the linesmans relevant, and to speed up the game.

Kabak did all right.
In the beginning, he was glued to Vardy and gave him no space, Vardy who was positioning himself to play against the allegedly weaker Kabak.
That didn't work out too well, so Vardy moved over towards Hendo, and had more luck and space then.

VAR hasn't helped at all, though. That equaliser was just plain incorrect. There's a good chance we win that game if the correct decision is made. Then there's the debacle at Everton. There's 5 points difference right off the bat without even delving further into it.

Yeah, but according to BT the ref gave a penalty and VAR turned it into a freekick. It was very unclear exactly where the foul happened in the replays and there was a chance it was on the line ... so the ref giving the penalty was not a "clear and obvious" error, so shouldn't really have been overturned

This is assuming BT are correct when they say the ref awarded a pen - even that wasnt obvious to me

It has nothing to to do with Jota, Frimino , VVD, Gomez, keita Ox or any other player.
This is down to klopp. This is down to a system that klopp refuses to change. This has been said even before we won the league. The man is a legend, I would rather not see another Dortmund.
Klopp needs a reboot. Otherwise we are in big trouble.

It "IS" down to the lost of VVD and Gomez/Matip...With losing both Henderson and Fab from midfield to play CB, you are losing two players with a rating of 8.5 average, sticking them at CB, and replaceing them with players with average rating of 7.0 in the case of Jones The Ox 5.5, Origi 5.5 and Shaqiri 6.0. The only player we have consisent in midfield rating is Gini at 8.0 and Thiago, at 7.5 - 8.0 nd Gini does not look to play the type of pass that Henderson or Fab would to the front three, so that creative/attacking side is also losted to us, unsettling the whole team
