Commitment: Klopp will abandon his sabbatical in order to take control of Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp has turned up the heat on Brendan Rodgers by telling friends he would be interested in managing Liverpool.
Klopp will bring the curtain down on his glittering reign at Borussia Dortmund after Saturday's German Cup Final and he is already looking for his next job.
He does not want to take a sabbatical and is attracted by Liverpool, according to reports in Germany.
Rodgers' fate as Liverpool boss will be decided when he has his post-season review with FSG's Mike Gordon next month and the Irishman presided over a hugely-disappointing campaign.
The shadow of Klopp will loom large over that review and the German exactly fits the template of coach FSG like in that he can over deliver on limited resources.

recycling of the Bild story perhaps - maybe no smoke without fire.

It's the best we would get at this stage. Klopp, or his agent, are not going to open their mouths whilst Rodgers remains on the payroll.

I think that Klopp won't spill the beans until the German cup final is over.

We'll find out soon after.

No matter what anyone says, DO NOT get your hopes up about Klopp coming here.
It's not happening. Rodgers will be here next season and we'll have Danny Ings running around.

Another day wasted is another day Rodgers will use to sit at home and brainstorm excuses. He might also use that time to actually accept his fate that his time has come to an end, however after his "150% sure" he'll be here next season statement, let's anyone not kid themselves and do the right thing swiftly. The 6-1 loss and the countless disappointments don't feel any better regardless of how time passes by.

He'll be running ings around people.

Hahahaha. That just made me cackle to myself.

Ordinarily that wouldn't be a bad thing, but I'm stood in a kids playground & Bex is with the kids on the other side of the playground, so a group of parents with their kids are now looking worriedly at the man standing alone who just cackled to himself near their children.

From one impossible project to another Impossible project.

What a masochist..

[article=http://www.football-italia.net/67136/beckenbauer-klopp-napoli]Jurgen Klopp will be the next Coach of Napoli after Rafa Benitez goes to Real Madrid, claims Franz Beckenbauer.

“Next season Klopp will be training in the South of Italy, at Napoli,” German legend Beckenbauer told Sky Sport Deutschland.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager had been named as one of the likely candidates, but only if the Partenopei snatch third place from Lazio this evening.

That would put them in the preliminary round of the Champions League with a considerably bigger budget.

Other alternatives are Sampdoria’s Sinisa Mihajlovic, Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella and Unai Emery of Sevilla.[/article]
