Surprised about Roberts going. A shame too about Amoo, who looked worth a longer look IMHO.

Let's re-sign Kirkland, Heskey, Murphy, Guthrie, Diao, Whitbread and Owen.

Scholes has signed a one year extension.

That looks bad for Fulham given their debt.

I doubt they will be too restricted as long as long as Al-Fayed is bankrolling them
Al Fayed isnt THAT rich.
Im not sure he will want to sustain top 4 debt at a mid table side.

Yes. And I dont think Henry would sign players for us if we finished mid table for 5 years and had 160m in debt.
There is no way of telling without taking to him. But I doubt Jol would have left Ajax for Fulham without some reassurances over the financial stability of the club. They won't be able to pay off those loans anyway so Al-Fayed will probably convert it to equity. Apparently the are the 9th highest grossing club in England so once / if the financial fair play rules come in they are likely to start turning over a small profit.

Also the debt is to Al-Fayed, not too a bank (or at least not directly)

Fuck me the demise of Salif the Champions League winner (well he was there and in the photos).

the world cup which made every senagalise player look world class seems a distanct memory now
