I look back on that European night at Anfield when we beat Dortmund. A brilliant performance, but then Klopp came out and basically conducted all four sides of the ground, and I thought, 'Bloody hell, this bloke is absolutely incredible'. He's the most amazing man, and we're so lucky to have him. I just hope he owners realise that.

Sadly, I don't think the owners realise just how important Klopp is to the overall club ethos.

Yes, he fits our existing left wing, socialist, fan first ideal, but he can also persuade the players & money men (ie Edwards) to buy into his idea, or even bend to theirs if its better.

That doesn't come around often. In truth, it doesn't come around ever, we're damned fucking lucky.

I remember some thought he could only play one way and was a one trick pony who got found out at Dortmund and would get found out in England.

He’s adapted his style more than any manager I’ve ever seen at the top of the game.
