An appointment this quick surely shows discussions have already been taking place for some time.

If I were a Forest fan I'd be absolutely livid.

This might be even crazier than West Ham sacking Moyes and giving the job to that awful Spanish chancer

Love to see it though, our bogey team from last year gone

I wonder how long it’ll take for Ange to start whingeing and press conferences.

My money is on the first press conference.

Congrats to the big whinge

I wonder how long before he bemoans an injury crisis without taking any responsibility for it.

Gibbs White and Murillo to do their hammys by December.

Dreamie in heaven - a smorgasbord of “I told you so’s” with Mo, Wirtz and now flAnge on the all you can bleat menu!!!

Really surprised Ange got another job in the Premier League and was in the running for the Leverkusen job - when he was sacked I thought his stock was lower.

Overall, I think manager-wise this is the weakest Premier League has looked in years. You can argue 6 or 7 of the 20 teams have managers who are below PL standard, then you have a group of promising, but unproven coaches (Glasner, Frank, Iraola, arguably Maresca and Amorim) and at the top it’s Pep who is possibly on his last legs, Arteta who is increasingly being questioned and only Slot seems to be on the upward trajectory.

Where is the era of Klopp, Pep, Ancelotti, Conte, Mourinho and Tuchel etc all fighting for supremacy in the league? The current PL crop is so weak, even Moyes now looks like one of the best.

Yes, Moyes has proved he is a good manager for a mid table team. The Utd job wasn't beyond him. Utd was beyond saving. His signings didn't help though, but he wasn't given time to adapt.

if things are turning to shit at city and guardiola leaves in the summer who do we think they’d go for next?

legohead, kompany, flick? i’m not sure how attractive they are right now

They will pay whoever they want whatever they want and get them. Even if it’s off the books.
