Funnily enough the one rumour I kinda believe is that Meireles rumour because it's just so completely unthinkable that I can't imagine anyone inventing it.

RT @JohnBrewinESPN: @sidlowe You may know this already, but the Aguero trend is a scam by #mufc fans to get #lfc fans giddy.

Appaz Ming was promised a raise by the old regime and it's not unlikely that the new regime have views about that.
He'd JUST signed, was played out of position, played shite there under Roy, got dropped. I don't see how he could possibly have spoken to the old regime about a raise during that period.

Spion is this an ITK thing you have going here or are you just being a common or garden realist?

Meireles is class.

No way he should be sold or included in any deal.

Agree. He settled in really quickly (at a difficult time too) and is already majorly important to our attacking play.

He was already one of our best players under Woy. And I dont think he got dropped.
He got even better under Kenny in another role in midfield.

This pay raise stuff souns bollocks to me.

He said he was promised when he signed that his terms would be reviewed after 1 season if he had become a crucial part of the squad as he was getting more than he was getting at Porto but quite a lot less than senior players at LFC. Sounds about right

Firstly i think Aguero is massively overrated ... marquee signing or not.

Secondly how would he justify it? for CL footy.... nah sorry just for cash...

ni de conia

The agent of Sergio Aguero has revealed that Juventus are still leading the chase for the Atletico Madrid striker but does not know where he will end up playing next season.

To think Aguero would come here after we just signed 'Jordan Henderson' is just laughable...

Errr... Aguero is about 4 levels better.

You're welcome.

@Marcotti: Moron on Sky Italia: "Aguero wants to go to Real Madrid. He already bought a house in Madrid..." (err... doesn't he already live there?)

Lol.

Mesut Ozil: Real Madrid have reserved the No.10 shirt for Sergio Aguero

The German international appears convinced the striker is heading to the Bernabeu with comments that also suggest Lassana Diarra may be on his way out of the Spanish capital

Real Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil has fuelled speculation that Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero could be set to join Jose Mourinho's men, by stating the No.10 shirt is being reserved for the Argentine international.

Aguero looks set to depart Atletico this summer, with several of Europe's big clubs interested in the striker.

Madrid appear to be in the driving seat for the player, after Aguero declared he would prefer to stay in Spain. Atletico's arch-rivals would be in a position to meet the €45 million (£39.7m) buy-out clause necessary to prise 'El Kun' away from their city rivals.

Ozil, who enjoyed an impressive debut season at the Bernabeu, has declared that the club will give the No.10 shirt to Aguero if he signs this summer.

"Madrid have reserved the number 10 shirt for Aguero," the German international told Saz Aktuell.

The Real Madrid man's comments have cast further doubt over Lassana Diarra's future in the Spanish capital, with the former Portsmouth midfielder being linked with a summer move to Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Juventus.

Aguero enjoyed a prolific season for Atletico, scoring a total of 27 goals in 41 appearances for the La Liga outfit.
