I'm afraid I have less sympathy for him than most of you fellas do. It's true that many in the press are bottom-feeders of the worst kind and I'm not about to try and claim otherwise, but that stuff about them criticising his "integrity" seems cobblers to me, a smokescreen he's putting up to try and cover his tracks. What they've actually criticised is his professional performance, and IMO they have a point.
Which is fair enough but his last point is the telling one. Words either taken out of context or twisted to sensationalise something. The press do it all the time. Opinion is fine but at least present the facts not a skewed version of them to support that opinion.
I despise Spurs - Truly. Probably only because I've had some unfortunate encounters with some (a couple) of their fans - I am quick to judge - It's a failing of all of us Taureans. - Still I like AVB. I like what he had to say and I agree with him. The hack chirping back at him was clearly angling for a soundbite. Fucking media twatpig!........

AVB probably wont last the season at this rate. Having a go at the fans, media, his own players and that everything goes against Spurs. When they played over here last Thursday, he had a fan thrown out for shouting abuse. If you cant take it then dont be a manager in the EPL. He's like a spoiled kid. Fucking cunt.

Most of that I agree with, but can you or someone else please explain to me what the problem is with calling him AVB? I can't be @rsed typing out Andre Villas Boas or any permutation thereof. AVB is a useful shorthand, nothing more.
There is nothing wrong with it - Silver Sean just seems like a grumpy old sod.
