Would be unfair to make a decision if the duration of management taken into consideration is not equal.
For season 23/24 so far, my vote goes to Gary O'Neil.
- Appointed days before the season began
- Beat Man City, Tottenham and Chelsea
- Drew against Aston Villa and Newcastle
- Narrow defeats to Arsenal and Man Utd
- Working mainly with assets passed over to him (think Bueno and Bellegarde are their only signings after he joined)
- Squad lost key players from previous season - Neves, Collins, Nunes
- Bringing more/the best out of existing players - esp. Neto, Hwang, Cunha
Even if we look at it across the entire year, what he did after taking over at Bournemouth was commendable too - not forgetting it was his 1st job as Head Coach.
