a 35 million pound player must have technical ability. i've never seen it in carroll.
I have to say I laughed with incredulity when I'd heard that Spurs were rumoured to gave bid 18m or something a few days before we bought him. When we splurged 35m I just decided that I must have got it wrong.
I still hope I have got it wrong, but he looks to be up against it at the minute. I reckon he could still be a very good player, but right now he doesn't look anything like Liverpool quality.

I just don't know why we didn't wait till the summer and see what was out there striker wise. We bought carroll injured so it wasn't like we rushed in a new striker to play. Honestly for 35 mill I would be expecting a player to be banging them in for a couple of seasons at the top before paying that price. Not signing a player for one purple patch.

He hasnt done anything wrong and it wasnt his desicion that we paid an insane amount of money for him. Itandje was an embarresment. Andy Carroll hasnt done anything wrong, and he's only 22. With, what 13 years of football still in his career.
The mobb mentality on some of our players is insane. It used to be Lucas.
