Might as well keep what is bound to be massive news a little separate from the normal transfer gossip. This in regard to our very own Hannibal The Cannibal - Suarez!

I think he'll be banned for sure but what does this mean for LFC? I'm a bit flummoxed - More money, less money? Less interest? More interest (due to his inevitable international ban) ?

Looking back at it - It's all very embarrassing from his point of view. His dive at the end was woeful.

EDIT: I see Shearer has already piped up....

Worse case scenario for us ... no Luis (long ban) and no cash (no further interest from RM or Barca). This could get bad, very bad, for us.

Can an international ban be applied domestically?

Well, look: this is what surrendering your sovereignty does! We used to be our own rulers. If we wanted to swap an egg-shaped ball with a round-shaped ball, we jolly well went and replaced it. Do you remember Frank Worthington? Very fond of sea bass. So he was always allowed to have a sea bass secreted in one of the goals - not to eat, mind you, but JUST TO KNOW IT WAS THERE. Okay? And there was nothing wrong with that. But try it now! Boy, you're in for a surprise. It isn't widely known, and it is NEVER mentioned on any BBC channel, but sea bass has been banned from ALL football grounds - professional and amateur - since 1997 on the orders of FIFA. I ask you! You try taking one in and see what you get! And this, Jeremy, is what we're up against! Now this Suarez fella, here's a bombshell: I don't condemn what he did at all - in fact I've invited him to join UKIP and stand for the next election - but if he's made a mess, we should be the ones standing there with a pooper scooper and a blue plastic bag - of whatever size we wish - and it is our INALIENABLE right to drop that bag over the hedge and into Mrs Coletart's garden down the lane and round the corner, as we have always done. But no, we have to endure Herr Blatter's frankly outrageous [cont. on p.27]

I think they'll make an example of him and ban him from all football. We could lose out big time here. The stupid tit.

Yeah I think he'll get banned from all forms of football. Still funny, though.
