Right, so if he's coming in as part of a deal for Masher, what's the take on him?

I don't know a damn thing about him.

Feedback please!

Its bollocks. He wont come.

But is he any good? What kind of player is he? I see his chances of games at Barca are mighty limited.

Would he be a good buy to partner our Torres?

I don't think we should sign him if he's offered. Not when valued at a ridiculous 15M anyways. He lacks pace and strength, so really, I don't see where he'd fit into our side at all.

He may turn out to be a fine player one day, but he'd be best off biding his time in that Barca team like Iniesta did and progressing year on year.

he' still unproven, whereas Mascher is world class - no thanks.
Masher's great and all, but World Class? Occasionally he can be, he can also be pretty woeful with his passing, which is a bit fundamental for a footballer, let alone a World Class one.

As much as I love the guy playing for us, he's dispensable and we can maybe, with the money, go for a more rounded midfielder in the mould that Rafa was looking for last Summer, (just not Gareth fucking Barry, obv).

Trust me, in the role of defensive midfielder he is world class, I can't think of anyone better, can you? Hence the intrest from the best team in the world.

As for this deak, Bojan has a great potential, but I think we would be idiots to sell someon at the peak of his powers for soeone who has potential and then doesn't make it. Obv, if Mascher wants to leave then we should insist on a massive cash offer and maybe Toure.

The latest numbers floating around are GBP 35m.

I would be happy with that.

Stick that + 20m in a bid for Ribsy.....and......

*wakes up*

These spanish sides love parting with there shite in part swap deals.. Fuck off barca.. £50 mill and might think about it..

It's a specialist role, but United didn't do too badly without one last season, we've become more of a possession team too. There must be a good up and coming midfielder with similar attributes and perhaps the ability to pass the ball consistently AND chip in with a few goals, surely?

for 30mil and bojan id take him!
he will be the best striker in the world i think, from what ive seen of him when he plays! + he is only 18 so itd be a good deal. then 15mil on martinez or cana to replace mascher nd 15mil towards silva nd our team would be great =]

Barcelona can take their 20M + Bojan ... and SHOVE IT.

Bojan is a decent player, but he's not the kind of player we need at Liverpool.

Still young - he's not strong enough for EPL.

And also our style definitely would not be good for him.

yes, but utd's formation doesn't detract from the fact that mashjer is world class - i am not saying that we should not consier a swap, but I do not want us to seel players at the peak of their powers for someone who has potential - we've signed to many 'new zidanes' and 'new thurams' for my liking. If there is a swap then we need to pick someone at the peak of their powers.

He's great Terrier. But Kens right, he is slight and would be better served at Barca. Im sure he'll stay there, but id love to get him.

I think Spain u21's are playing tonight against Finland on Sky. You can catch him there.
Hes just a kid and wouldnt be up to our first team yet, but i think hes going to be a massive massive star, and would love to sign him for the future.

Thanks for the headsup Oncy, I will try to catch that game.

Doing a bit of research on him, he's pint-sized: 5'7 and not very heavy (a la Rooney, Tevez).......hmmm.

Alot of people seemed up for us getting Saviola though Terrier, and he's even shorter..

he is possibly the most highly rated young striker in european football.... he will not be coming. ALSO i fucking hope we will not be selling!
I don't know. He's a good finisher but doesn't have many decent physical attricutes.
He's technically very good. He's a great passer, a super finisher and a clever dribbler. The only thing against him is his size, but its not like he needs to win tackles or anything. He can play all across the 4 so he'd be very good for us, but it may just be a bit early for him.
I would be very excited to get him.

Didnt he break all scoring records for Barca youth...........

He was meant to be the next Barca wunderkind a few years back........ I reckon he would be a good signing but not at the expense of losing 15M out of a transfer of Masher........

The scary thing is that hes not nearly at his peak yet, hes only 24 i think. £50 million or fuck off.

The "peak age" for footballers is a bit of a myth

And £30-35M is a generous offer for Mascherano - he'll never command a higher fee.

Yeah but is he remotely as good as equally pint-sized Messi though ?

If he ain't, I don't want him.
