Bye bye Kenny (part 2)!!!!!

We were never relegation candidates. I hate all this brink of relegation talk.
When Kenny took over we were FIVE points off the BOTTOM of the table having played 21 games and having won one in five.
Not five points off relegation places.
FIVE points off the bottom. Mid January.
After 21 games.
Im not sure what your criterea for relegation threatened is, but its clearly not the same as mine.
Our goal difference was -4
After 21 games.
In January.

I'd be lying if I said that I'd support Kenny no matter what. I just can't disregard all the mistakes that were made this season.
You talk about being on the brink of relegation last season. We're 17 points from relegation this season. It's just not good enough.
I hope I'm wrong. I sincerely hope Kenny wins us the league next season, so you can shove this thread down all of our throats but I'm not a believer.

I didnt say Kenny will win the league next year.
And I wouldnt get rid if he didnt. As long as there is forward momentum.
My expectations arent really all that high given how far we have fallen. We need to be realistic. City have spent 100's of millions for 4 years and are now MAYBE champions. We have spent 120m one year after flirting with relegation and bellends are saying sack the manager.
If we sack the manager then fine, i'll live with it and so would he im sure. But gleefully requesting it? Hoping for it?
Fuck that.
LFC used to mean more than that. It still does to me.
If Kenny shows again next season the kind of league form we have this season then fine, he'd have had 2 years and not progressed.
But RELEGATION threatened to Carling cup winners, top 10, back in Europe etc IS progress. Not fast enough for many it seems but good enough for me to give a legend another crack of the whip.
And people saying its only because its Kenny people are putting up with it are right. And they entirely miss the fucking point.
I want to love this club. LOVE it, heart and soul. Not soulessly move on to the next guy trashing our principles and riding roughshod over our history in a fucking quest for fortune and glory.
Stevie stayed because he knew that winning a title with Liverpool would mean more to him than winning 10 at Chelsea. Same thing applies with Kenny.

Oh and btw Ken, Blackpool who were relegated were 3 points ahead of us when Kenny took over.

The results have been disappointing, but anyone who fails to see a complete and positive change in the way we play football under Kenny is simply mad. We've managed to play a lot of attractive football this season and have really suffered from poor finishing, and at times, bad luck. Our home record is an aberration, but the football being played hasn't been (and our away record has been excellent). Kenny has overseen victories against all our major rivals, and with a few tweaks and a few additions this could be a really good side. Not everyone will agree with me (especially the legion of Adam haterz), but I think Kenny's only terrible signing has been Downing. There has been a really nasty thread of criticism of Kenny that has been extraordinarily disrespectful of his intelligence (by fucking know-it-all internet warriors). It is no wonder that a number of good posters have been so galled by the lack of respect that they've not been able to face coming on here any more. Be critical by all means, but refer to him as a naive cheerleader, and quite frankly, you're acting the cunt, and wilfully ignoring the better aspects of this season. He took us to two domestic finals, and whilst we all want the top four, that's some pretty good fucking going, particularly as we had to beat a number of top rivals along the way. I trust Kenny, and respect him utterly. YNWA KK.

It's not attractive when one player has to dribble past three players to create a scoring chance.
It's not fun to see one player being our only offensive threat for most of the season.
I think it's tragic to be honest. Suarez is my favourite player along with Agger, and to see him work his socks off every game because he's playing with the likes of Spearing, Downing, Adam and Henderson isn't something I'm looking forward to next season.
If Spearing, Downing and Adam are sold this summer, I'll be convinced that Kenny has learned from his mistakes and I'll happily support him.

Im sure that'll weigh heavy in his think Modo.

KD had made great progress when he took over last season, we played some great stuff when under no pressure.

The highlighted point of your posts (below) stinks of some sort of higher than thou super fan nonsense that should only belong on RAWK.

Look at things objectively.............. If our manager was anyone but KD (I'm guessing you cant do this as this is the crux of your whole argument)

We spent over £100 million

This season we have failed to win 3 league games in a row all season.

How can you suggest this this is forward momentum?

I can honestly see why the RCDNW hated the RCDNR so much now. Like I was with Rafa, im very much in the middle with Kenny, but with Rafa i was always in favour of him going. With Kenny im in favour of more time. And honestly now i can see that those on the 'CDNR' end are far worse tham those on the 'CDNW'

Never have truer words been spoken before mate.

We've had the most minutes in the oppo half than any other team in the league Modo. Unless Suarez does the old wad of chewing gum on his toe and runs about with the ball attached, we've had some good team play this season.

I also hate the kneejerks against Spearing because he fucked up against Chelsea. He had been playing well, and he's still inexperienced at this level. Only one of those players has been a coward on the pitch, and that's the only one I have don't have hope for.

I care not to converse with you.
You have an agenda. I dont.
And 'Belongs' on RAWK!! Grow up.

Boss post that.

Spearing is 24 years old. Xabi was 21-22 when he helped us win the CL. Unfair comparison I know, but I just think the ship has sailed when it comes to Spearing. He isn't suddenly gonna turn into Makelele.

Regarding us having most minutes in the opposite half...
I really don't think that means anything. We've looked toothless in the final third.
