Probably, as i never really saw him at that level. But there are lots of players who tear shit up at reserve level who don't make the cut. Is there a chance spearing could be amongst them?

I'll not argue about Chuck, because I'm fed up defending him. I've seen him change important games for us, and play some of the best passes and assists we've had this season. I think the criticism of him has been (typically) over the top. That's all I'll say on him in this thread because I cannae be arsed any more.

I question a lot and I write often times into my positive posts regarding the negative.
Because the negative is there. But SO is the positive and the posters getting dogs are the fucking imbeciles who would piss on a Carling Cup (for the sake of it) piss on an FA cup final (for the sake of it) piss on turning round a relegation threatened side and making them (so far) a midtable side. Piss on a man saying the football has been good at times. Piss on a man saying if only we had a finisher. Piss on every signing and fail to see potential in them etc etc etc.

Everyone EVERYONE who is pro Kenny has repeatedly brought up and been happy to debate his faults but still see the good and think he deserves time. The same can not be said of all the anti-Kenny posters whos rhetoric flows thusly

Anti - 'Shit cup, pointless. 120m spend'
Pro - 'Yeah but we were in dire straits'
Anti - 'Yeah so 120m cant motivate the team'
Pro - 'Yes we have wasted a lot of money, i'll admit that but he had to rebuild a really poor team'

Go back and read my posts, ive been super critical of Kenny this season, substitutions, interviews, handling of the Suarez thing, Freezing maxi out, signing Adam and Downing, Loaning Aquilani, dropping Carroll erc etc ive been viscious at times. But BUT i know the good hes done too.
But thats because im not a bellend with an agenda like so many of our fans these days.
I would also say that Chuck went downhill when SG started playing in the middle. It is more grist to the mill that we need SG further up the pitch.

It's funny really , the last few years we've had Rafa , Kenny , the yanks , the suarez - evra thing ....lots of issues that have divided fans so much . I guess in a sense it's all taken it's toll and lots of people just aren't arsed with it anymore .
So one thing i am sure we can all agree on is we need a pretty decent season next year . No off field shite , no excuses of how we are building or unlucky to be hitting the post . Just decent results and good progress, others can do it we should be able to also .

We will be re-building next year as well, it's kinda an on-going process. Even Man Utd has said they will to catch up with Man City.
I think this is a post *everyone* can agree on. No mean feat in these troubled times.

no sorry , yeah of course we are rebuilding , i don't expect to win the league next season or anything . I just think people use it as an excuse for when we underachieve , you can be rebuilding but still get decent results and have a decent season .
Of course there's a chance, but I think he's much better than we've seen so far. Not every reserve player was MOM with the regularity Jay was. Like Lucas used to be, I think he gets totally overawed by SG, and lets him take responsibility (partly because SG demands it!) I'd like to see him given a chance, and his confidence nurtured, and then we'll see.
Well you could say reaching both domestic cup finals represents some positive signs, rather than utter failure....
The term does get over-used but this season it's been especially true.

I'm staying the middle now because its really not worth it. My opinion on dalglish is just that, my own. If other people disagree then fine, i couldn't give a toss. I know what i'd like to see in our football club and i know what i weaknesses i see in us. I went to wembley because we were in a final, I was fucking over the moon. I'm thrilled we're in europe. Am i thrilled kenny is our manager? No. Because im not convinced by his tactics. Every manager deserves time to rectify. Even Roy did (cue snorts and guffaws).

In fact I can only think of three posters who fit the category
Mr Moo, Hmmmmm and Ryan.
And like I said, I cant think of any the other way.
I honestly never thought there was such a thing as RCDNR but these three represent the living breathing embodiment of KCDNR.

I'm not 100% behind kenny, I think his tactics are at times lacking when the players don't play the way they should do, I think a couple of his signings have been misguided at best, & he ignores a lack of aggression we possess.
Theres massive room for improvement, but despite all that, at times the side he has playing look like they could beat anyone, & not playing dour football either, but strong effective pass & move, we beat & matched the best the league has to offer & got to two cup finals.
He deserves another season at the very least.
