Bye bye Kenny (part 2)!!!!!

The results have been disappointing, but anyone who fails to see a complete and positive change in the way we play football under Kenny is simply mad. We've managed to play a lot of attractive football this season and have really suffered from poor finishing, and at times, bad luck. Our home record is an aberration, but the football being played hasn't been (and our away record has been excellent). Kenny has overseen victories against all our major rivals, and with a few tweaks and a few additions this could be a really good side. Not everyone will agree with me (especially the legion of Adam haterz), but I think Kenny's only terrible signing has been Downing. There has been a really nasty thread of criticism of Kenny that has been extraordinarily disrespectful of his intelligence (by fucking know-it-all internet warriors). It is no wonder that a number of good posters have been so galled by the lack of respect that they've not been able to face coming on here any more. Be critical by all means, but refer to him as a naive cheerleader, and quite frankly, you're acting the cunt, and wilfully ignoring the better aspects of this season. He took us to two domestic finals, and whilst we all want the top four, that's some pretty good fucking going, particularly as we had to beat a number of top rivals along the way. I trust Kenny, and respect him utterly. YNWA KK.
Ace post docster

Spearing is 24 years old. Xabi was 21-22 when he helped us win the CL. Unfair comparison I know, but I just think the ship has sailed when it comes to Spearing. He isn't suddenly gonna turn into Makelele.

Regarding us having most minutes in the opposite half...
I really don't think that means anything. We've looked toothless in the final third.
We're good at fuckin, we just never cum.

Hmmmmm:

I don't think so.

I think Oncy was saying to shut the fuck up with all your doom and gloom shite until the new season starts.

Yeah but are we allowed to respect kenny yet express concern at how the season has gone ? Surely he's not above criticism ? I mean i still respect him for all he has done at this club but i'm fucked if i'm following some super fan handbook and burying my head in the sand to the many problems we've had this season , both on and off the field .

Zeppelin, did you actually bother to read what Oncy wrote? Nobody's saying Kenny's above criticism. Oncy was complaining about the OTT criticisms which diss the man and give the impression that the poster(s) involved enjoy ranting about the club more than supporting it.

This is post is exactly the what I mean

Every fan wants the club to do well. Can we agree on that?

If some choose to criticise the management, then they get accused of enjoying the ranting. Which clearly isn't the case

Way to miss the point. The problem is not, repeat NOT, that "some choose to criticise the management" - everybody's done that to some extent. The problem is that some see, and post about, only the bad stuff and exaggerate it as a result. You regrettably are a prime example.

So if its not rosy, why have a go at my posts all the time?

Are we not able to criticize the decisions of management, without being always disrespectful?
I didnt respond to your post. You responded to mine.
Please dont do that anymore and I'll go on thinking youre a tiresome bellend who doesnt deserve to support this great club and you can go on thinking im niave and willing to accept failure and all will be 'rosy in the garden'
Safe?
Safe.

Because theyre gloomy ? I don't think I've ever seen you post anything positive. It's alright criticising but being unable to see any light is just purely negative. And people can fuck with this RAWK and superfan nonsense. Being able to support your club when they need it most isn't a bad thing nor does it mean youre blind to the problems that exist. Do we only get behind our team when we are doing well now ?

Have you followed all my posts on forum?

As they havent all been negative. Please check, though doubt you will as your mind is already made up

All of them? Probably not. I definitely can't remember you being anything but negative recently though, and I'm clearly not the only one.

We've had the most minutes in the oppo half than any other team in the league Modo. Unless Suarez does the old wad of chewing gum on his toe and runs about with the ball attached, we've had some good team play this season.

I also hate the kneejerks against Spearing because he fucked up against Chelsea. He had been playing well, and he's still inexperienced at this level. Only one of those players has been a coward on the pitch, and that's the only one I have don't have hope for.

He was poos against Chelsea, but he's still had some mares besides that game. He's A squaddie at very best

Generally an optimistic person, thing is I have only started to post more this season (after lurking for a few years) and that has coincided with our worse league form in years. So how this can look......

This is because there are 2 camps, give kenny another year and questions need to be asked. If you are on the former your perceived as being "negative".

Oh. And regarding this debate :

I'm not happy with our season

I criticised kenny

I'm not overly sure he should manage us

Point is there's nothing left to be done. Season is all but over. If he's still manager next year, he has to impress me, But I'm not going to continue being negative over the summer for the sake of it

I would genuinely rather walk away from football for good than WANT Kenny Dalglish to be sacked.

If i ever felt that way i'd stop watching football. Because id have become the part of the 'modern' game I hate.

If we lost the first 10 games of next season, id want Kenny to win the 11th and start from there.
One day i'll have to accept him being sacked or stepping down.
But WANT that to happen? Nah.

Kenny Dalglish.
YNWA.

This is because there are 2 camps, give kenny another year and questions need to be asked. If you are on the former your precieved as being "negative".

Sorry but that's rubbish. Everybody - including me - who wants Kenny given more time has also said there are questions to be asked.

I really don't think that means anything. We've looked toothless in the final third.

We have looked Toothless in the final third- but of the players you have identified, Spearing, Adam and Downing, only one of them is ultimately culpable. Your favourite player to hate on, Chuck, for instance, had the most chances created to minutes played in the league, on a bunch of occasions. Spearing played really well for a lot of his games. The comparison with Xabi is particularly unfair because Spearing has only really been a regular starter this last year. When he came to us Alonso has been a first team player for about 3 seasons.

He was poos against Chelsea, but he's still had some mares besides that game. He's A squaddie at very best

How many mares was everyone's favourite Lucas allowed to have? I still see potential in Jay. Lots of it.

And he was called a cunt and should have been sold

Just because a player might turn out good doesnt mean he will. See Babel

Besides, isn't lucas only 1 year older than jay?
I think jays ability isn't good enough for his brain. I can see what he's trying, but overall his lack of ability in certain parts let him down,

Sorry but that's rubbish. Everybody - including me - who wants Kenny given more time has also said there are questions to be asked.
But people who do ask questions want instant success

JJ i've been on the brunt of it myself so i can empathise with hmmm. Its why i started ending every post with "but kenny deserves another year". From that moment I wasn't getting the "instant success" nonsense that others have been getting.

You could argue that if Spearing was good enough he also would've had 2-3 season under his belt by now. Fuck Henderson has more experience than him.
Chuck just isn't good enough and I don't think he'll improve, I'll leave it at that.

Maybe Fabio, but Jay was so supremely talented at reserve level that I have seen the tools he has, and if he only gets the confidence, I think he can do it. His worst games have always come when SG is beside him in CM, and I don't think it is a coincidence.

IF you're not 100% behind dalglish you get stick. Its one of the reasons i've started bowing out of a lot of debates, because ultimately you get swept up in the tide and its no longer worth posting about.

One of the issues with spearing is his pairing IMO, he looked alright with Lucas last season, and has looked shit next to Gerrard and henderson. He's worth keeping if not just cos he's always boss against Everton.
