Rodgers need to never wear that outfit again, where as Suso needs to wear that shirt plenty more.

Y1 on is 'Asses' trip again. Weird chap.

As for Suso, I hope we do get him signed up on a new contract. Has looked a classy player since he arrived and it'd be awful to see him walk away for nothing.

In Fifa 2012, I have assembled this years squad (Yessil, Assaidi et al) and I have found it much easier to get Sterling into my team than Suso.
Sterling has made 16 starts and scored 4 goals.
Su-su-suso is still making sporadic sub appearances.

Simply because we have NO wingers and a shitload of CM's.

Carragher, Henderson and Downing are unhappy.

Speaking of which, is there a patch that Will update all summer transfers for 2012 version? Or do i need to do it myself?

Fantastic to see suso doing really well.

Brendan really does pull some faces.

In another thread in the GC some are talking about breast, chicken breast... so I am fixated with aSSeS because we have become a team of asses and most of our first team have asses. 😉

Suso credits team-mate for Liverpool rise

Liverpool rookie Suso has credited fellow Spaniard Jose Enrique for his rise through the ranks at Anfield.
The promising 18-year-old made his Premier League debut when he came on at half-time against Manchester Unitedon Sunday and did not look out of place in the emotionally-charged M62 derby.
The Spain Under-19 international, who joined Liverpool in 2010 from hometown club Cadiz, admits it has been a challenge to adapt to life in England.
However, he says the transition has been made easier by the presence of left-back Enrique.
"He is the player I learn from," said Suso, who is set to feature against West Brom in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night.
"Every day he gives me advice and he always knows what is best for me and what I can improve. He is the best companion I have here, he is a good support inside and outside the club.
"It's true there is much difference between Liverpool in Cadiz. Especially the food, the fish you can get in Cadiz is not here! And my family of course."

I'm not suggesting that this current crop of kids could go on to rival United's golden generation of the 90's but it is possible and the thought is tantalising.

United's Golden Generation
Scholes
Giggs
Butt
Beckham
G. Neville
P. Neville

Liverpool's (potential) Golden Generation
Suso
Sterling
Wisdom
Sinclair
McLaughlin
Shelvey
Pacheco
Yesil

Lee Sharpe?

Lee Sharpe?
Sharpe was a couple of years older when the others broke in to the team. He was young enough that I did think of adding him to the list but I left him off the same as I left martin Kelly off i.e. over 21.

I think it's a little early to be drawing such comparisons.

United produced a couple of world class players that remained world class for a long long time.

Sterling and Suso have a lot of potential but whether they can truly elevate themselves to world class and dominate the league for years to come... who knows.

I also think that crop of players was a one in a lifetime thing. Ferguson was lucky, to a certain extent.

The Spaniard is currently enjoying a breakthrough campaign with the Reds, impressing in substitute roles in the last three matches, following his promotion to the first-team at the start of the season.
Suso joined Liverpool from Spanish minnows Cadiz in 2009, and has since been rated as one of the best young talents in the country.
But speaking this week, the 18-year-old has revealed how he nearly ended up at Real Madrid, after they made a big-money move for the youngster ahead of the Reds.
'I had agreed on a contract with Real Madrid, and the transfer was basically done, but then Rafael Benitez called me and told me he had a lot of confidence in me and that I should go to Liverpool,' Suso told Cope.
'I'm glad I made this decision. I love this club and it is the best for me.'
The news will come as a welcome boost to manager Brendan Rodgers, who is weighing up offering new contracts to several emerging young talents, in a bid to secure their future with the club for years to come.
For now though, Suso is just focused on becoming a Liverpool hero.
'I have never thought about going. I feel comfortable here and no intention of ever leaving.'

Fuck that. They'd have to pay me to wear them. I'm so skinter than skint & still wouldn't wear them anywhere but to do my allotment!

I have a pair of Asics I ONLY wear in the gym on the treadmill.

That allowed folks?

That's fine, people who dress well to go to the gym generally do fuck all.

I think it's clear there's an inverse relationship between seriousness of gym time & the amount spent on gym clothing.
