Holloway suggested Adam could be worth "£46m" due to what Blackpool would earn should they avoid relegation and the Bristolian described Villa's recent offers as "absolutely disgraceful".

I think some people are getting carried away with Charlie Adam. He looks great for Blackpool, but then, he's at Blackpool. His highlight reels aregood but at a club like ours he'd be expected to turn in performances like that on a regular basis. There's no doubt that he has ability, but so did Danny Murphy. I'm not sure he'll continue his progression at a top club (or at the very least, a sleeping giant). Plus he looks out of shape, which I always find hard to stomach for a professional sportsman.
