ok i was thinkin more on the less side, but he's nowhere near a bad player, i do agree that we dont really need him though, he'd would create a decent amount of goals though, id much rather have mccarthey

Loads of rumours doing the rounds that he's all set for a move to us. Worst kept secret ever, but anyway.
Should Blackpool have sold him in january for 8 mill £ and then reinvested that in players? Would they have had a better chance of surviving? Close call really, as they nearly made it. But interesting none the less.

So the majority or people here don't want him but then why do people in or around the game rate him so highly ? Souness was waxing lyrical about him earlier .
I want him RedZep, he'd be better than Lucas & Spearing and would work well with Gerrard in CM. Plenty of goals and assists there.
I'd take either but I just feel that McCarthy has the potential to be better!

The rumour is that KD wants Adam and DC wants McCarthy, so regardless of the players' merits I want to see KD get his way on this.
Why have DC employed at the club then?
..... and in this particular case DC would be the favourite. McCarthy is definitely the better purchase.
To help Kenny identify players and to veto if he thinks a proposed purchase is a very bad idea.
As others have said, I like them both, but if it's just one I would prefer McCarthy.

Lemnos said tho thatany player we bring has to be alot better than what we already have. I wouldn't class him as alot better. But I'm not as boss as Kenny like.
