Gravy was still a top prospect. Macca only wanted us but was wanted by a lot of clubs. Leipzig arent a mid tier team and he was also wanted by loads of teams.

Caicedo had given his word to Chelsea and we fucked about, thankfully, re Lavia so he moved elsewhere.

Nope, not really major contracts. Utd had their worst season ever and signed Mbuemo, Cunha and Sesko. Chelsea have signed just about every talent out there including one of the biggest coming out of Brazil. There aren't that many I'd want but players seem keen to join them regardless of finishing 12th and 6th.

Everything is possible when the club is Liverpool. One season out of the CL doesnt change that. As I said. Majorly exaggerated.

I’ve just done a quick check (via ChatGPT) and we were against Man U for Gravenberch and Mac. They were in the champions league but had some bald Dutch cunt in charge. We had Klopp. We won that easily with that Klopp factor with Mac’s dad saying his mind was made up after speaking to Klopp. We were competing with Newcastle for Szoboszlai. Add to that, unless you’re playing for any German club other than Bayern you’d jump at the chance to come here.

Are Mbeumo (£150k/week), Sesko (£160k) and Cunha (£180k) worth it? Or rather, which champions league teams made a serious push to sign them?

Should we offer 8 year contracts like Chelsea? They get players because the players know they are set for life, and if it doesn’t work out they get sold and make even more money.

It’s not that we won’t sign anyone, we won’t be sitting at the top table when it comes to signing players. If it comes to a straight fight between us and Arsenal/City/Chelsea/Man U then playing in the top competition will play a massive factor. Unless we break the bank to get them which is a poor decision in the long run.

I just checked some of their other reported wages. Rashford - £300k, Sancho - £200k, Onana £120k, Casimiro - £350k, de Ligt - £195k.
