Another lower league signing they have made. Sane decision not to just make big money signings for the sake of it.

Aston Villa was a good club for Gerrard to continue his progress as manager but too bad it was a job beyond his abilities...

€32.5m fee plus €5m add ons

Apparently Lavia's replacement. 5th signing from Man City after last year's Lavia, Bazunu, Edozie and Larios.

Amorim finally has an out and out striker to work with. Tough loss for Coventry and Mark Robins though.

Rodrigo completes his move to Al Rayyan

Another rational signing from lower leagues. Fair to say that Luton are mentally prepared to go down, albeit as a stronger side than they were last season.
irrational

£5m + £5M in add ons

The promoted 3 clubs are usually some of the busiest in the window, look at the likes of Forest & Fulham.

Not really seen much from any of them so far.

Isn't this the way that theoretically gives them a better chance at long term PL survival in 3 seasons time?
Buy to strengthen the team for promotion in 2024/5 accepting relegation as more than likely, if not inevitable, this season. Thereby giving them 2 Summer transfer windows (and far greater investment funds) for 2025/6.

Yeah, sensible thing to do. Doing what @Bradley suggested (http://www.sixcrazyminutes.com/threads/championship-play-off-spots.197477/page-2#post-2222466) :)

Lots of changes to the midfield and attack - Openda, Baumgartner, Sesko, Seiwald, Carvalho. Interesting to see if they can click immediately.

They've rebuilt well and reinvested the Nkunku/Szobo money wisely.

Openda and Baumgartner will be great signings, Sesko I have a feeling will be 1 of those that's either a proper dud or muster into the next superstar.

Good move for him if true, Leeds willing to pay our 10m asking price then?

Or is it you know....a straight swap for Adams? I'll take either!!!!
