Watched 5 matches yesterday, flicking back and forth between them whenever there was a break :-
Spurs vs. United : I missed the 1st half forgetting about the early KO. Seems United dominated that, though from the 2nd half you wouldn't have thought so. A draw probably the best result, though TBH a United win at this stage would have suited us better.
Man City vs. Burnley : WTF. Strolling at HT then fell to pieces. Burnley played with the same verve and aggression as they did against us but this time got some reward.
Southampton vs. Chelsea : Saints have a damn good team and gave CFC a damn good run until the last 15-20 mins when they were over-run, in part to Schweinsteiger's 2nd yellow after 85 mins. Better for us if CFC had won but this result was more satisfying - and fair. Mourinho the fucking tit is raving about referees having a 'campaign against Chelsea' - he's such a cunt.
West Ham vs Arsenal : Arse had more than 20 shots about double that of West Ham, so it would be tough to say they didn't deserve to win. However West Ham seemed to dominate proceedings with Arsenal playing mostly on the break - looking very dangerous every time they did. Welbeck is really shite in front of goal but good elsewhere, Sanchez was superb, Ox - like Welbeck. Cazorla - excellent again. But Arsenal are very very weak at the back no matter who they play there. Koscielny easily their best player in the back four. Chesney saved them a few times - what I'd give for a keeper as powerful and dominating as him.
Newcastle vs. Everton : EFC are shite, really really shite. Newcastle could have won this going away had it not been for Cisse/Sisshoko's prolificacy. In the end they were hanging on because Newcastle are also shite.
What has happened this season ? After effects from the World Cup and lack of a proper rest for the players ? Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, Spurs for the most part, even City at times, all look far worse than last season.
