[/quote]Not from me mate. Ive heard it a few times but hadnt mentioned it because it sounded blag, but then Markmc told me it was real ive rooted about a bit and plenty of Chelsea think its done (incidentally they see Higuain as his replacement) and its popping up on rumour sites.

So assuming this is for real, what does it mean for Carroll? Suarez is going to start, and I know you need depth, but a £35m man on the bench?

If we didn't have Carroll, I'd be excited about this.

Not that I think Andy's a better player or anything (cos he's not), it's just that this means stunting Carroll's development.

He will be here to aid Carrols development... Drogba will be an impact player better option than ngog

Drogba being here will be similar to why Owen plays for united... to help develop the younger players in training..
 
Why would he come to us if he knew he wasn't an automatic starter?

He's good enough to be starting at most places, plus at his age he shouldn't want to be sitting on benches.

because he is 33, next season 34 and needs to look at the next stage in his career, whilst still playing at a high level.


It would not surprise me one bit if Kenny's no 2 has had some influence with this deal..

I hate Didier Drogba, and I think he's a cunt on the level of a Ronaldo. He dives way too much and is too sensitive for a player that's as big as he is. No thanks to someone I rate as one of the biggest cunts in world football.
 
His diving and general cuntiness has dropped way off in the last few years. He's a lot more likeable/bearable these days than he was when he first arrived from Marseille.

This could be true, and if so, I would gladly change my opinion of him, but as a rule I've avoided Chelsea matches because they leave me sick to my stomach with all the badgering of officials, simulation of injuries, and John Terry's gigantic cunt face.
