I know we are where we are but I can’t help thinking 400M to have 10 behind the ball defending for our lives.

There is no plan here other than to be defensive and hope.
This is clearly wrong, when the opportunity presents we have played through the press brilliantly and got into good spots and one should have led to a goal and another arguably a penalty.

It’s like an away game in a knockout stage of the European cup where you’re 2-0 up and you’re frustrating the opposition playing for the draw.

It’s a universe sway from what these games were like under Klopp.

What does a point get us tonight? A win keeps us in the mix for top 4 and keeps Arsenal in a title race too.

It’s cowardly shite.
Doesn't a draw extend our lead over the 5th place team..?

I'm not a Slot defender, but, respectfully, this is a bit silly. Not losing at their place, without a striker on the field would be a good result for us, considering our current situation. And that point you're unhappy with us going for could make a world of difference at the end.

Kerkez has done well, very well. Let's remember he's up against Saka not some useless twat from the Championship. Utter crap cross when he should have passed but Robbo would have been toast (and so would we) had he started.

Kerkez better in second quarter of the first half and Bradley has got the better of Trussard in most part. Konate is being dragged out following Gyokeres which is a worry as the midfielders can run through the space he leaves behind.
So, he played well for 11.25 minutes..? THAT IS an improvement, in all fairness! 😉

I don't understand not having some kind of striker on the bench. Some fucking 17 year old who's probably shite, but at the very least knows how to run the channels

Chiesa for the last 10 min, but I'd be getting Rio on for gakpo. He's offering fucking zip. Not even aerial presence as he can't judge a ball to save his life

Not watching, but this is basically every Arsenal match, so it's not all that unusual and doesn't mean we're playing out of our skin. (Fuck that anyway. We're supposed to champions and they're the modern day Stoke).

But let me guess the pattern of the game... they have failed to create much from open play, but have dominated possession and with constant pressure almost entirely in our half? They look largely solid and comfortable at the back?

If that's the general pattern, then they're gonna score a goal from a corner in the second half - probably an own goal - then get another one a bit later on as we try to get a goal ourselves and open up.

Actually it's quite the opposite, their best chances have come from open play. They got nothing from set pieces.

No, that's not really it at all.

What happen to the guy with the comedy 80s scouser hair?

Colour me shocked. We'll still lose. The players will come out semi-comatosed after a pep talk from the fraud
