Top four is about right to be fair
We battered them today in every aspect and had the chances to win.
We got a little lucky the start of the season after playing poorly.
So four points off the top is about right.
All I care about is the response. Mainly from Slot. What he says publicly at the press conference will be interesting.
I’m his biggest fan, but Salah needs dropping. He’s costing us
Salah and Macca both should be dropped. Ekitike should start.
Losing to that shite was a disgrace.
2 weeks Slot had to come up with that mundane, predictable, disjointed dog shit only for him to have to throw all the attackers on again & hope. Fucking useless.
He needs to make some big changes or our season will be fucked.

I did think the effort, bar Salah, was not issue.

Frimmers gives us a glance of what its like to not be carrying Mo Salah. Ekiteke looked good on the left - went out of it when he came into the middle
I thought Gakpo did well comparatively but 1 of those 4 chances he could have easily scored would have changed the game. Especially the header.
But it would have papered over the cracks

I can take that the shape and balance is off, it can take time to gel, but defensively we are dreadful and we have little cohesion or actual game plan. Macca marking Maguire from corners, its fundamental basics where we are getting it wrong. I can take Isak not being up to speed, it's persisting with Mo and not correcting glaring issues that's the problem, and that's a massive worry. He's got big decisions to make, and so far he's swerving every single one.
Slot needs to find a starting x11 who are well drilled and balanced.

I don't think his stubborn bald head will do it with Salah even though all logic says he should. He'll persist with MacAllister too even though he shouldn't even be on the bench the way he's been playing this season.
Wirtz & Ekitike have to start games, there's just no point not playing them. If Slot can't work it out then he should fuck off & let somebody in that can.
Chiesa & Rio need more game time too.
What’s strange is that last year, he was the opposite of stubborn. He was really good at early subs at changing the tactics.
I thought we needed time to work on the field formations etc?
