They were above us earlier in the season.
Shut up Momo.

They were above us earlier in the season.
He would also trust the group and rotate players too.
Palmer pulls a Nunez
Again, the problem is that Slot doesn't keep the squad players match fit because he never gives them any time.to be fair to slot he’s right in that chiesa has been improving loads this season by not playing
but it’s also because our wide players have been shite
i don’t however think he’s right about ramsay, fullback is one of the few positions i think you can give a player a chance. he doesn’t need to be cafu to give us a solid 60 or 90 against sunderland or any other side and rest some midfield legs.
haha we’re all going to be fucking furious tomorrow nightRight, the others dropped points
Let's see if arne can motivate a dead horse
I won’t be. I haven’t been for a while. What’s the point?haha we’re all going to be fucking furious tomorrow night
you’ve reached acceptance, i’m still at anger. watching europa league and missing out on even more targets is fuelling me.I won’t be. I haven’t been for a while. What’s the point?
As soon as we got to Xmas with no news and Xabi available most of us knew that was it for the season. Maybe FSG have a plan for the summer, maybe they don’t but not much point getting overly excited about something that ain’t going to change until July ofif at all
Dead cat bounce.Right, the others dropped points
Let's see if arne can motivate a dead horse
And maybe I’m reading too much into it, but it does come across as a slightly sarcastic dig at Klopp — indirectly referencing Klopp’s 22/23 league finish (which I think he will have difficulty matching this season - we need 28 out of 39 points to equal that season's 67 points), which led to no Champions League football in 23/24 (and/or using it as a defence for himself, should we not qualify for CL).
He only finished with two more points than Klopp’s final season. As I’ve mentioned before, 84 points wouldn’t have been enough to win the title in most of the past 10 seasons - the last season in which 84 points (2024/25) would have been enough to win the title was 2015/16 — the season won by Leicester (only once in the last 14 seasons, twice in 22 seasons).

you can see that siege/ bunker mentality with some managers. like prime mourinho or klopp will have you running through walls for them, fuck what anyone else says, you’ve got a tight bond.Thing is, it's not like what he's saying is out of whack or wrong necessarily. It's just the way he says things and the fact that a very large percentage of the fanbase hate him.
I wonder to what extent public sentiment affects the players.
We’ve managed to show reaction to a league defeat by winning our next league game twice this season. Twice. That’s 6 games where we didn’t react.
He would also trust the group and rotate players too.

Get out here with your "reasoning". Heretic!I think slot rotates when he has options he thinks are suitable.
Obviously the forum decides that since performances are bad every decision he makes is wrong.
I just think our squad is poor and a normal amount of injuries sort of have fucked it. Most substitutions he makes, which are also wrong, because see above, tend to make the team worse.
The players some are championing, Endo, Rio, chiesa etc. probably should have more minutes, but not a lot more. If we were at all comfortable, they would, but we are seldomly in a comfortable game state. Would they make a big difference? Not based on much that I've seen. Rio is perhaps the exception, and not because I think he's very good, he just actually changes how we play a bit.
Setting that aside though, the squad isn't fit for purpose.
Making this harder, our fitness levels aren't there. We have multiple players who are good for 70 minutes of what is now a 105 minute series of stupid little sprints.
Thing is, it's not like what he's saying is out of whack or wrong necessarily. It's just the way he says things and the fact that a very large percentage of the fanbase hate him.
