Spurs keen to sell, but hasn't been sold yet. Should LFC make a bid? Will they sell to us?

They’re looking for 130M or whatever. With a year left on his contract. Even for half the price I doubt the LFC management will see value considering his age. A ManU/Madrid type of signing.

I think the quoted figures are insane especially considering he's running down on his contract.

However if he's anywhere near available in the £60M-£70M region we should obviously be all over him. Like that jellyfish that stung my leg at the beach. A surprising and aggressive bid late on, mixed with some Klopp-loving.

Hard-working, goal-scoring creator that would thrive endlessly in our midfield behind the front three creating chances left, right and center as well as chipping in quite a decent ammount himself.

He's "only" 27 and has never relied on pace why I beleive there could easily be 5-6 top seasons in him yet. Could be our missing piece. That creative spark our midfield has lacked somewhat.

And this one as well, only five PL players covered more ground than Eriksen did last season. That's quite an achievement for a creative player isn't it?

I'd love to have Eriksen in our team, but it's stacked in midfield already.
What we need is a wing forward

No, we shouldn’t make a bid...because...

No, they wouldn’t sell to us.
If they would sell to United, they would sell to us. Levy would love a bidding war and if that were the case, Eriksen would likely to go to United in such an event, as they're handing out generational wealth contracts right now.

I hope he doesn't end up at Utd.
Some members of this forum might have an aneurysm.

Eriksen taking our set pieces would be worth more to us than having a decent back-up for Mane or Salah.

He's actually been pretty embarrasing from corners the past few seasons and even though delivery from freekicks improved last season they are not quite as world class as they once were.

His first-touch, his vision, his workrate and shots from outside the area could win us points mind you.

Ah shit, after adjusting for your bias that means he has fallen to the levels of Aspas.

Levy will bum rape the shit out of anyone that thinks about taking him in our league. That being said, if he's available, we should defo give it a go.
I suspect he'll be off in 12months time for 500k a week somewhere. He'd be an idiot to go and play for a midtable team like Utd when he's been playing for Spurs, he wants a step up not down.

Spurs have made a bid for Coutinho so yeh we Should get him...

But we won't..

And neither will they with Coutinho

1 year left on his contract, and he’s not gonna sign a new one. They risk losing him for free next summer
