Arguably the best player in the world vs a very average Czech team.

I really cant see anything other than a Portugal win.
As soon as Portugal decided to turn up after Germany scored they have been dynamite. They have a solid back 4 and options all over the pitch going forward.
What can we say regarding the Czechs? They dont give up.

For me comfortable 3-1

I like Ronaldo. Always have too. I think he's fucking great and I'd love to see him tear this shite Czech team apart.

I know I bang on about systems, shape, formations, defensive mindsets all the time. And they are critical, but sometimes it's great to just watch someone like Ronaldo stuck his middle finger up at all that and play the game exactly how he wants.

I agree totally. Im glad he left the mancs and even though i hate Madrid, I just cannot help but want him to win. Hes a force of nature and pretty much a perfect footballer.
And although i cant say hes better than Messi, I really dont think hes any worse.
If i could only have one of them (at the same age) Id pick the Portuguese.

I think in Ronaldo's head the worst thing that could happen to him would be to lose his hair. Or have his face horribly burned.

I dislike Ronaldo as much as the next man, but he's a fucking brilliant footballler. At par with Messi, and it's ridiculous how sometimes people will have you believe there's daylight between the two. There really isn't. If anything, Ronaldo's proven himself in two separate leagues, which Messi hasn't.

Ronaldo is nowhere near as far off Messi as people think. If Ronaldo was 2 years older he would have 3 ballon d'or.

Messi is a far better team player - relies far more on skill than on pure pace and strength to evade tacklers, and seems to me (I don't know assist counts) as a far more willing passer of the ball than Ronaldo. Against Holland, Ronaldo complained quite a few times for not getting passes when he was in better positions than teammates and than when the roles were reversed, refused to pass. He's a vain cunt, who's got Messi on his mind non-stop (his comments earlier). Messi isn't 'light years' ahead of him, but he's ahead of him and if Ronaldo wasn't so busy changing hair cuts at half time, or taunting his own fans, he'd probably admit it himself too. He's a cunt, albeit a world class cunt.

He may be an excellent footballer BUT he still is an arrogant, greasy, up-his-own-arse, slimey, smug, fucking cunt.
