Douglas Costa is some player. Neuer just pulled off the most insane save from a Walcott header from 5 yards out.
 
Wenger is getting exactly what he wants with these counters now, but there have been some really stupid decisions made when it matters with the final ball.

Just now you have three arsenal attackers occupying the same space, running in the same direction on the break.
 
Fuck me, we should have been after Costa when he was rotting away in Russia.
 
Slight gain in the PLs coefficient standing. We need more PL teams winning in both the CL & EL to keep that 4th CL spot. It's got to be hurting a lot of fans 'hoping' a team they hate wins.

Guardiola's tactic of sticking Müller as wide as possible on the wing and playing Vidal almost as a 2nd striker at times was interesting... but ultimately ineffective. Müller never managed to beat Monreal and Vidal didn't manage to connect with Lewandowski the way Müller does.
 
Neuer attempt to save the shot from Ozil was awesome. Neuer was diving before Ozil connected with the ball.
 
Sterling with back to back hat tricks against quailty opposition ... wow ... See, let's give him a whole season before worrying whether we got a good fee or not ... 😉

I think it's pointless worrying about whether we got a good fee or not at this stage. We can't change that. Plus, we've no idea how well he would have performed for us this season. But If I was given the choice I would have kept him over the money we got.

I think it was Peterhague who said we weren't even strengthening City as it was all relative to who else they might sign in lieu of signing Sterling.
We clearly strengthened City and weakened ourselves in selling him. Heck, they even went off and signed Kevin De Bruyne aswell. So they signed one of our best players and then signed another player who's even better than Sterling.

I think I agree with all of it ...
a) Klopp's system would have really worked for him
b) He'll never develop to the star he could be at City ... He'll always be their big studs (Aguero, Yaya, Silva etc) and when they move on, they'll buy similar level talent.

With respect that bolded bit strikes me as somewhat naïve. Some players in dispute with their clubs will still be mature and professional enough to knuckle down and produce on the pitch, but I don't think there's a snowflake's chance in Hades that Sterling would have fallen into that category.
