Florian and the (Slot) Machine

"Signs in the sky? Look closely…"

The big palm tree? Clearly the Tree of Wirtzdom, rooted firmly in Liverpool soil already.

That sparkling blue? Not a pool — that’s The Pool. As in Liverpool. Notice how it reflects the sky? Because dreams are becoming reality.

And those clouds? Top-left — that’s not just a cloud, that’s YNWA in cursive if you squint hard enough.
Even the one floating above the palm? Shaped like a liver. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

And that tall red-flowered bush to the right? That’s not flora — that’s the Anfield crowd in full voice, waving red scarves, ready for Wirtz’s debut screamer.

I’m breaking my silence for this one tweet because there’s far too much misinformation circulating around Florian Wirtz, and it’s creating a wave of false hope within the Bayern fanbase that simply doesn’t reflect the reality behind the scenes.Florian Wirtz will not be joining Bayern Munich, and there is no version of events where this transfer happens anymore. That is the clear information coming from those directly involved, and it has been internally accepted at the club for quite some time now.I’m not here to gain anything from this, and everyone is free to believe what they want, but the information I’ve shared over the past week has consistently been confirmed piece by piece, including the internal dispute between Hans Wirtz and the Bayern board, as well as the strategic PR campaign that followed, carried out by the usual Bayern-aligned reporters who essentially confirmed everything in their softened language to protect the club’s image.

From the beginning, Hans Wirtz was in contact with Bayern officials, particularly Uli Hoeneß, and while there was a mutual agreement on contractual terms in the event Florian would decide to join, it was never an exclusive commitment. The family had made it clear they would listen to offers from other top clubs before making a final decision, yet Bayern ignored this and prematurely pushed out a narrative through their media allies suggesting that Wirtz had already chosen Munich and would only consider them. That attempt to pressure Leverkusen into lowering the transfer fee was not only transparent but deeply disrespectful, and it severely damaged the relationship with the Wirtz family.

What followed were direct talks with Manchester City and Liverpool. Pep Guardiola had been personally pushing for months, and while City remained genuinely interested, the combination of high financial demands and Florian’s lingering indecisiveness ultimately led them to step back from the deal.Liverpool, on the other hand, increased their efforts and left a far stronger impression on Florian and his family. Arne Slot’s tactical presentation, the club’s vision, and the personal approach taken during discussions made a clear impact. In comparison, Vincent Kompany’s plan came across as underwhelming and failed to convince Wirtz that Bayern could offer him the right role from a tactical perspective, which only reinforced his decision to turn away from Bayern‘s project.

The choice not to join Bayern has already been formally communicated to the board. The reason it hasn’t been made public yet is due to Bayern’s ongoing efforts to manage the narrative and prepare a controlled PR rollout that helps soften the blow. That explains the unusually tense and visibly frustrated tone of Uli Hoeneß in his recent interview, where he subtly acknowledged Liverpool’s involvement.Out of respect for Bayern’s long-standing interest, the Wirtz family agreed to hold off on announcing Florian’s decision for a few more days, despite being deeply dissatisfied with the tactics used by Bayern in recent weeks.

The respect is still there, but the trust has been broken. There was also brief internal consideration from Real Madrid, but that has now faded. They neither have the current need for Wirtz’s profile nor the financial and strategic bandwidth to move quickly, while Florian has made it clear he wants clarity about his future and intends to finalize everything within a tight timeframe. It’s also worth mentioning that Bayern had quietly been working on a potential signing of Juliane Wirtz, Florian’s sister, from Werder Bremen for their women’s team. That move was intended to help him settle more comfortably in Munich. Negotiations with Bremen were already advanced, and contract details had been worked out, but that idea has now been completely shelved. The cancellation of that plan is yet another clear indicator that Bayern themselves know the transfer for Florian has collapsed.

I disagree. Look at the color of the sky which dominates all others. He wants to be the leader of the attack, write his name in the record books, etch his name in the annals of the............................................................................................................................................................

Hill Dickinson stadium!!!!!!!!

If he plays his cards right, he can do the Legends circuit with Duncan Ferguson. If he is successful, he can adapt bulb and connectivity metaphors at the gunners. They agreed to give him Playmohead's secret barber. Cant compete with that!!!!!!

Kicker] Wirtz: Bayern Fears Liverpool – Decision Coming Soon
For a long time, Bayern Munich saw only Real Madrid as a serious competitor for signing Florian Wirtz. But now it looks like Liverpool might get involved.

Wirtz, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, is a key player Bayern wants. He is expected to decide in the next few days whether he will transfer and where he will go. People at Bayern believe he will choose between Liverpool and Bayern Munich, and this decision will be made within the next 10 days.

Last week, there was a meeting between Liverpool and Wirtz’s family. Many thought they were meeting with Manchester City, but that was a misunderstanding. Right now, Bayern is not worried about any interest from Spanish clubs, according to sources close to the club.

Bayern’s management knows exactly what Wirtz’s family is planning. Reports say that Liverpool impressed the family and want to make Wirtz the center of a new team at Anfield. Just like Bayern, Liverpool is ready to spend a lot for this transfer.

Kompany Explained His Plan to Wirtz

This fact gives Bayern hope. A transfer costing over 100 million euros is very unusual for Liverpool. Still, the Premier League and Anfield are very attractive. Will that also attract Wirtz?

Bayern’s new coach, Vincent Kompany, has had a long talk with Wirtz about how he would fit into the team. Did he manage to convince him? A “no” from Wirtz would be a big blow to Bayern. They don’t have a backup plan yet and hope he says yes. If Wirtz says no, they might try to quickly extend Leroy Sané’s contract instead.

Just like with Wirtz, Bayern also hopes to get Jonathan Tah, who is currently on vacation. He would join for free and could sign a 4-year contract or 3 years with an option for 1 more. Barcelona is also still trying to sign him. If he chooses Bayern, he would be part of the team for the Club World Cup starting on June 15.

Is Juliane Wirtz a number 9 or a left back by any chance? How is she at DM?

If we can sell Harvey for 40m and Diaz for 80m, and in return get Wirtz for 120m, it will be akin to a day light robbery. Dom can rotate on the left and the 10 position.

It makes sense if he's concerned how he fits tactically with Musiala in the side.

But I still won't believe it until I see it.
