When Grobbelaar was on his game some of his saves were extraordinary, e.g.the potential own goal he saved from Jocky in the first Merseyside Cup Final which was shooting towards his top right corner - when he stopped that ball going in, he was parallel with the crossbar and very nearly as high. I don't think either Clem or Reina would have kept that one out.

This for me too... he was a class goaly IMO.

Its a poorly timed interview however, even if I agree with a lot of what he says. Migs form has picked up lately also... I hope he can iron out the weaknesses in his game.

The "Grobble Wobble" while many will say it was legendary, and it probably did put the kick-taker off somewhat, was the the fucking single most stupid looking thing I ever saw.
