Mo Salah 2025/26 Season

At 25 he wasn't balding. At 30 he was. That's time. No amount of body is a temple and time at the gym did anything about it.

No, it's not a sensitive subject, I've never been able to even grow a passable beard, but the hair isn't a problem.I do seem to hate elective cosmetic surgery more than most. I find it wildly distracting in movies for example. Like, my wife will be watching something set at any time prior to 1980, or in other places, and I'm like, no, that face didn't exist then. Same with every other guy being on TRT.

I think he was correct to get hair transplants because I think people are stupid and superficial and easily tricked. If he looked like what he naturally looked like now, he would read as someone past his prime, which he happens to be. He would have less value in advertising as well.
Not really relevant is it ? If a man wants to have hair transplants because he doesn't want to go bald then so be it. It's not superficial or easily tricked to wanting to keep hold of your hair if it's possible to do so. Whatever gives a man better self confidence while he grows older. There are millions spending money on HIMS hair growth tablets and some swear by it, not looked into science of it but doesn't bother me in the slightest. I say boob jobs for all.

Its a little odd that you associate cl triumph with Salah. I don't associate him with our success in that competition particularly.
Such an odd thing to say. Are you going to roll back every Salah achievement? Pen in the final to set us up and our leading scorer in CL. Not an easy achievement for a club that has won 6 CLs. 40 goals is some going.

I just much more associate him with premier league success.

I'm not rolling back anything, he's been a consistent performer across competitions.

I just never thought he performed that well in the business end of the champions league, and our most memorable game was when he wasn't playing. This may partially have to do with the fact that his form has tended to trail off in seasons because he's too old to not have his minutes managed.

Zidane would like to have a word with you.

Ok well that might sure more your bias against Salah than reality.

Let’s look at some stats shall we.

Top goalscorers in the CL

Salah 46
Gerrard 30
Mane 24
Firmino 23
Kuyt 12

Top assists in the CL

Salah 17
Milner 13
Firmino 13
TAA 11
Gerrard 9
Robbo 9

Since he’s come here his goals and assists have done more to propel us to three CL finals in 6 years (our most successful run ever).

He’s scored and or assisted in both CL semi finals he’s played both legs in and he scored the opener in our 2019 victory.

Him going injured the year before is arguably why we lost top.

He’s literally the main reason we’ve been so successful over this period.

Absolutely not. No players deserve special treatment. They should each be treated as unique individuals, as Klopp has talked about. Special treatment breeds resentment and undermines the team. I don’t care how many goals they score.
Pretty much every top pro disagrees with you that’s actually played at the highest level.

The very very best are treated differently.

The performance summed up Mo this season. Looked lively and created chances but missed a sitter, missed a couple of easy passes and lost possession in dangerous areas. If he stays beyond January he could be an option as a sub for the front two in the 4-4-2. I'd rather start Isak and Ekitike.

This will be his final season regardless I reckon. Possibly January but a certain summer exit.

Not with the very best coaches. Klopp had no place for superstars and that is how our team played.

He showed senior players great respect and included their ideas in things, but not because they were superstars. That is why it took ages for Salah to join that group and was never considered for captain.

Ferguson and Mourinho were the same. It is just not what Liverpool are about and never should be.
