For those of us who are a little bit supersticious. 30th March 1964 Liverpool went top of the table after beating Tottenham 3-1 and later won the league - the first one under Shankly. Tomorrow it's 30th March, 50 years later and Liverpool can go top of the table since december and on the opposing half tomorrow - Tottenham.

That calls for a song:

I can't see us winning all our games unfortunately.

Definitely not easy. Current record holder for most wins in a row is at 14 matches.

Most consecutive wins: 14, Arsenal (between 10 February 2002 and 24 August 2002)

We're currently on 7. Need to match that record.

Yep. It's all about tomorrow.

This game is pivotal anyway, it's the last game we have to play where we don't have a full weeks rest.

I'm gonna have a heart attack now. Its all about tomorrows game and its massive. Big results today, can we handle the pressure tomorrow....

Err it's also still in City's hands as well. Just for the record.

So let's get back to one game at a time. We've won fuck all yet.

Bang on. Mind you, it's really bloody easy to win all our remaining games, so may as well pop the corks now.

Absolutely huge test for the players tomorrow, Brendan says we're not looking at the teams around us, but the players certainly will be. This will be one of the biggest tests of the season due to the pressure, and just like the Spurs game earlier in the season did, this game could define our season.

If, and it is a big if, results go as expected and the top three win their intervening games, I like the idea that Man City will come to Anfield thinking that a draw would be good enough and Chelsea come thinking they need to win.

For those even more supersticious..... if we win all of those games we finish on 89 points....

89.... for the 96.

It will be a different kind of pressure though. On wednesday we had to win to stay in the title race. If we lose tomorrow we're still in it. Less nervy maybe.

Fuck, I dont know anything tonight. I'm bricking it already and looking forward to it at the same time.

Breathe, man. Just breathe...

I have loved BR's spiel about this. Teams like City and Chelsea hadn't won the title in many years and yet they managed to get over the line. Our team is good enough. our manager is good enough. Liverpool are good enough. We can win it.
