[James Pearce] Southgate confirms that #LFC's Jarell Quansah, who didn't make the final 26, is on standby and has stayed with the England squad ahead of tomorrow's game v Iceland.

He's eligible for Scotland. So Southgate is being canny as they'd say over the border.
There was never a question of whether he'd make the squad. The question was whether he'd be fit enough to make it.
Let's see if he survives the Iceland game.

You all seemed surprised that our Q has stayed - for a new player in our first team, for his age ,and the way he has performed - if he was playing for any other team - ALL of us would be wishing we had that £60M to invest in such a player. He's been outstanding for us, and has all the qualities of a modern central defender.
Jarrel cannot be inline to replace Shaw in the squad!
