Nothing solid, but from the amount of media buzz around it you'd have to think we're at least trying.
 
Rest assured, Kenny will have a strong term to challenge next season whether we get this Spanish lad or not. If he wants to come to Liverpool then great, if he doesn't then will it really Mata?

I'd be over the moon if we got Mata. That's the kind of quality we should be striving for.

Add Aguero, Young and a couple of other signings to take us from also rans to contenders.
