Liverpool related transfer speculation

The link with Simons is still way too early. I would be greatly surprised if Tottenham Hotspur land him. This is a Germany-related link so that it could be a false lead meaning that somebody has led Tottenham into making this bid so that this sort of news would come out. Lets see what happens.

It is things in the background that always matter. Simons seems overly keen from what I've gathered. Keen for a big stage. He is also surely greatly, greatly hoping to land in Liverpool. Simons link is Liverpool exercising their transfer power in the German market. Liverpool have probably only now "finally" given an indication to Simons they are looking at other options.*** LFC is a big club now and they hold such power/sway over many individual players. Meaning that if LFC were to change their tune Simons would very much still be available.

The LFC might've led Simons on so as to prevent him from going to a major rival like Chelsea and/or Arsenal and/or City. He appears to be an injury-free and major-injuries-free player. Very, very ambitious. He might look to spend a year at Tottenham as a springboard for bigger clubs. He'd be so inclined. But he has already made A TERRIBLE decision by exercising his player option to go back to PSG where he was AGAIN put on the bench. He should BE SMARTER in the future with his choices. LFC perhaps wanted to use Simons as a leverage vis-à-vis Newcastle so as to obtain Isak and take care of their Elliott investment. With these things TIMING is critically important often crucially in order to OFFSET OTHER CERTAIN CLUBS and key competitors.

Tottenham Hotspur FC could be my second favourite English football club. I say could be because I am a Liverpool supporter and have never been a Tottenham supporter. Never even watched Tottenham games purposefully. Hardly ever saw them unless they were playing Liverpool. But I do watch Premier League games occasionally.

Thomas Frank has had a great start so far. Two games and two wins, including away to the City. Has both Richarlison and Johnson scoring and firing. I think that Simons will like to see 6 points and Tottenham sharing the top spot. I think stuff like that matter a whole lot to players like Simons. Young, ambitious players. Especially that City was beaten away.

*** This is one of the very worst aspects of football. Football is corporate. Liverpool Football Club is run by a ruthless corporation. On the other hand, top and most-valued and regarded football players are youngsters. Often child-like youngsters who are absent-mindedly committed to football. That are ruthlessly exploited and lied to constantly. It is hard to make a name in football even for a top prospect. Barricades and problems may appear to always and constantly appear in front of them for reasons unbeknownst to them and their family/agents. They may get desperate. And they are kept desperate so as to be better exploited. PSV was a good choice for Simons. And so was Leipzig. I think Tottenham could be the same but one never knows.

You don't need to add a pic each time you post, honestly people will start subconsciously ignore your posts. It will save you time and grief

I think we should make it mandatory for everyone to add an image to every post

Edit: that might have worked better if I could work out how to do it myself.

Simons is clearly the surprise of this transfer window. It is funny. The biggest surprises/names/targets are often purposefully kept under wraps. This was HUGE and done very, very quickly. So unlike Tottenham, frankly.

This transfer was very, very professionally done. Came out of nowhere at the end of the window and was done very quickly. Very FSG-like except that it was so late.

Nope. This has been on the cards all window and not even moderate. He's a decent AM and will be a good acquisition for the Spuds

Thomas Frank seems to have made a great difference. A top manager, surely. And by that I primarily mean two things: A. Not religiously wedded to any one way/style of playing to the point of being unreasonable and B. Independent and not controlled by anyone else. Both of those things mean that he can be reasoned with. Could reassure all sorts of folks. Gave PSG a run for their money in that final.

What Simons stated. Meeting the coach was huge for him. Players in his position are prohibited from meeting coaches they might work with. They are kept so blind by the clubs that control their interests and by their agents. It is in everyone's interest that the player doesn't see nor talk to coaches. So that when they do meet such coaches they are in a very desperate situation. And then, of course, they are going to say something like this. But Simons has already been thrown around a few times so he has experience dealing with different coaches/managers. He was previously greatly disappointed at times which resulted with him being kept on the bench. He has a rather tremendous pedigree given that he came out of the Barca school. He probably feels he is one of the most technical players around. He was competing with the likes of Neymar and Neymar wannabes. That's what you need when you go to Barca and wanna make it there as an attacking winger. You gotta compare yourself to Neymar. Liverpool Football Club doesn't have that.

His father is Surinamese which is a country just north of Brazil. In all likelihood that is his ethnic origin. But his father is Dutch, a Surinamese-Dutch.

Fuck Simons!!!! He has gone to a club thats at best is top 4. Fuck them and him! Also, stop fucking posting jpeg images of texts. No one has done that before you. The forum has quote functions to copy and paste articles and colours for highlighting. Its quicker and easier. The only reason anyone would go to Spurs is money and wanting to be a big fish in a small pond.
We were not after the fucker. None of us care. Talk about our players without posting images
