If I was a club owner I'd do the same. Of course Dibbling isn't worth anywhere close to £100 mill and he won't push for a move so Southampton can ask for whatever.
I wonder if this is the reason Cunha and João Pedro are acting like cunts now. Maybe Wolves and Brighton are asking for too much and the players are trying to lower their values by causing trouble.
And they'll keep asking for £100 mill when teams like Chelsea are willing to pay that.

Yeah, it's worked for a lot of players, but I think it's risky. Because the buying club might start thinking that he might do the same to them.

We’re due a minimum of 49 games if you include the Charity shield and 51 if we don’t absolutely tank in the CL to miss even a playoff.
I think this season proves something ... we are short of neccesary quality when early on I thought we had such a good bench to take us through another quad charge. Dont get me wrong, I think Slot completely fucked up and surrendered the cup competitions, I honestly think he was deliberate in doing that so he could focus on the title and win it in his first season. He has said, he wants to recruit so that we can compete in all competions, I hope the LFC board and he will keep to that. I think the mood and feeling a clubs players get winning the league may not be just sufficient going into next season, Slot needs to deliver a CL.
I think he realises, the question is why he doesn't is more burning? We know Chiesa can turn games but he chooses to even leave him out of the bench. Harvey on the rare occasion he has played, has had clutch moments but again very little game time.
So, the club has to sell the players Slot dislikes and get in players he rates and will play

Still a lot of games to get to 60.
We’ll play 56 this season - so it’s the equivalent of getting to the QF stage of both domestic cups and the CL - while not finishing in the top 8 of the group stage and having the additional playoff.
Works out at 22 extra games - 12 CL, 4 FA Cup, 3 League Cup and 1 Charity Shield.
That’s actually less cup games that we played this season with the additional playoff of the Charity Shield and more CL games.
The max games we could play is 68, with 66 being the minimum if we were to get to all finals (avoiding a CL playoff).
Short version - we should be playing something approaching 60 games a season if we want to be successful and win things.
Ola Aina's name is doing the rounds. I am not against the signing as he is a defensive unit together with being HG.
With sky rocketing fees being asked for strikers. Cunha remains my top target, I mean the last time we had a loose canon we didn't too badly in Suarez.

Cunya has a relatively reasonable release clause. He's got nothing to gain from acting like a twat on the pitch.
